AEM is a great CMS, it is so much flexible and also easy to use. The best part is the agility in it, like dividing the entire project into templates, components and then you can play with it. It has a great DAM system where Business can put their content and then use it in AEM or other places. It has great user admin screen where we can manage the user groups, it is a great feature to easily manage all this.
It is a complex system with so many screens to manage. The biggest issue which I faced was the time taken to develop application on this and the money used for its implementation.
We are building Enterprise Content Management System with this. We worked with different company and leverage the AEM Platform to build solutions for them.
I like the cloud access feature the most.
There really isn’t anything. I’ve always been an Adobe fan and user.
I’m using it to organize the tools I need to help my clients.
I love that someone with little to no background on the software can pick it up so easily.
More advanced features to add to web pages
building a website for our department
It allows for less confusion between departments.
There has been a lot of issues with lagging and the software crashing...
Communication is much easier thanks to Adobe Experience.
Easy to use. You create pages using components. Upload videos, images, easily create cross-references, and build an expansive help system.
It can be a little buggy. Sometimes I need to refresh the page, but no biggie.
Creating help guides
From copywriters to developers, any level of user can operate AEM. Adobe has made the task of managing a large scale website as easy as managing the folder structure of your family reunion photo albums. Easy stuff.
The dreaded "cons" of AEM... Well guess what? I haven't found any. Seriously. Integrations with other products are not nearly as painful with AEM and the asset manager is clutch.
Business problem: Launch a full scale corporate banking site within 6-8 months. Solution: AEM. We did it. It wasn't the easiest process in the world, but we managed and succeeded.
The functionality and capabilities of AEM are great for a diverse audience with complicated and varying access levels. Components are easy to add and configure, and meet all of our content needs. It is simple to add resources from the Digital Asset Manager and HTML code editor makes it easy to copy and customize existing content (especially during content migration).
Navigating and drilling down to specific areas of the site can be a bit complicated and time-consuming depending on the size and complexity of the site.
We are able to use one site to deliver global and local content within the same platform using targeting and permissions. This platform also allows our employee portal to be responsive and mobile so that associates are able to access the information on the go.
I use adobe for digital content management in my office. This is very useful in tracking all contents across all platforms in my office social media handles. I feel it is easy to integrate across all digital content.
Due to its complex structure, I found very difficult to use it at the beginning. Java knowledge is must for using this product.
I am using multiple social media handles for my company. This helps me to integrate all into one content management and tracke across all queries. I am able to integrate when i need to get some input using forms and questionaries of this product.
Easy to Use & Manage all the contents in one go. Available both in Web & App with clean UI/UX. It has regular updates for newer functionalities / look. It is highly secure and ensures the privacy. Ability to onboard multiple users and colloborate with them.
Initial Cost could be higher for startups / small business. User needs time to understand complete functionality though this is positive for some users as it has lots of features. Advance Customization is bit time taking and requires efforts to implement.
Helps in setting all the content at one place and enabling different teams to work together which helps a lot.
I like its drag and drop facility. Its easy to use and the resposive pages are very easy to create. The pages are responsive so coding is not requited with the latest edition of AEM, so it saves a lot of time. Its also easy to integrate with other tools for reporting, analysis, spell check and broken link corrections/reporting. Its very easy to implement as well.
Nothing as such, I have been AEM user for almost 3 years now. Its making website creation and management much easier with its continuos updates and new features.
It being user friendly in nature and making website creation and management much easier and quick to implement. Its integration with other tools/applications is much smooth and hassle free.
Well The best utility of adobe experince manager is the fact that the content can be managed stsyematically according to the different platforms we use it for Content marketing purpose and also the integration with Adobe campaign manager to create, choose and dynamically add content to email marketing is fabulous
Well the implementation process is too long and also Onboarding is quite extensive process
The management of content according to the different platform we need to categorically use it as and when needed
There are several aspects that I like about the platform. For example, the extensive suite of tools, robust personalization features, data analysis and reporting capabilities to gain deeper insights into customer behaviour and campaign performance, has a powerful content management system and its ability to integrate with other Adobe products and third-party applications.
Its complexity can be overwhelming for some users. It is relatively expensive and requires a substantial amount of resources, both in terms of IT infrastructure and personnel. It can be challenging to master all aspects of the platform and some users have mentioned limitations in terms of customizing certain features and workflows within the platform.
It is helping to address various digital experience and content management challenges. Being a centralized content management system (CMS) allows us to efficiently create, organize, and deliver content across multiple digital channels. This helps us maintain brand consistency and streamline content workflows.
I really liked the fast and responsiveness in terms of any change I pertain and especially assigning evar values to specific items have been made easy with the new interface.
Altough the new interface is great sometimes, some actions reuquire us to go back to legacy view and it might create a confusion for us while operating the website.
I really liked the way that AEM supporst us (not via Consumer Support) but the built in features that are available to us and eases the content management, as well as content tracking system.
Ease of setting up any websites that have various versions, languages, and even personas.
At the minimum, it requires less coding which might find boring for some technical guys.
It is user friendly that even a non-technical person can engage and use it.
I love the easy to use user interface as it allows me to make my edits in a timely manner.
At the beginning, it can be difficult to learn and I would constantly see myself reaching out to an expert for advice.
It helps us make quick edits to our website pages. Instead of reaching out to the website team, now I can make these edits myself.
Web content management, digital asset management, and powerful personalization features It enables seamless content creation, management, and delivery across multiple channels for enhanced customer experiences.
Heavy reliance on Adobe ecosystem, potential performance issues.
AEM is used to create, manage, and deliver text and media contents across various platforms, website and mobile apps. It streamlines content creation and offers robust marketing features.
For me the most helpful benefits of Adobe Experience Manager is it makes easier and can unify content creation, delivery, and analytics.
Since it's a web-based tool, everyone who uses it needs a good internet connection. Otherwise, it can affect working with too many components.
The reusable workflows is the one that I like the most about Adobe Experience Manager.
It can easily integrate and work seamlessly with other Adobe marketing tools. It helps creating and delivering an engaging and digital experience to the customer.
It's a professional tool, so the learning curve is very steep. If anyone wants to utilize its capabilities fully, then it requires training. It's also very costly, so it is a barrier for small businesses.
It solves my content management challenge and delivers a personalized experience to my customer. Overall it manages my digital assets efficiently and ensures content delivery.
1. Easy building of layout. 2. Person with less knowledge is able to use it easily 3. Publishing , drafting content is very easy Compared to Drupal or other CMS, its good for editors mainly
Overriding default behavior is sometimes little tough for non technical folks Also more plugins should be available in adobe marketplace
Problem of deploying multiple websites and publishing same content across different domains using single point of control
Its a robust and complete content management system for enterprises. A whole gamut of features and functionality, integrations and a really sleek interface makes it a perfect choice for enterprises. Perfect to get everyone from marketing to web developers onboard and seamlessly collaborate.
The cost and the initial setup and onboarding can be a considerable investment/change management for smaller organizations who cannot leverage the benefits of a solution like this.
Great collaboration between various functions and geographically spread-out teams. Marketing teams love the ease of digital asset portfolio management. Excellent visibility to leaders into the content and web activities.
