I can find the correct Domain Authority and Traffic Value of every website I am interested on building links for and posting for, all the information is very easy to access.
This is a small QoL thing but I always have to login even after just a small amount of time of inactivity, that is a very minor gripe though.
Realizing the true value of a website before I decide to post on it for link building, sites with low traffic value and low Domain Authority are really counteractive
Powerful competitive analysis features packaged in a way that balances ease-of-use with configurability.
It's easy to run out of reports because the limits are hard to see.
Ahrefs has enabled us to take a look at what kinds of content are working for our clients' competitors so that we can help our clients' replicate that success.
The best thing about Ahrefs is tracking of off page SEO activities and creating off page SEO strategies. We are able to do the following things with the help of Ahrefs: 1. Exhaustive keyword research 2. Backlink tracking and monitoring 3. Ads tracking for competitors 4. Ranking tracking for the shortlisted keywords 5. Researching great content to write about
Pricing is very expensive. This tool can be expensive for smaller companies.
We are able to do the following things with the help of Ahrefs: 1. Keyword research 2. Rank monitoring 3. Good content discovery 4. Backlink mentions
The Organic Keywords and Lost/Broken backlinks sections.
Nothing - there’s maybe too many unused functions.
Assisting with keyword research and link building.
I love the fact that you can source frequently searched questions as well as keywords - it’s so handy for segmenting blog posts/creating FAQ style blog posts etc.
There’s nothing I dislike about this tool - it has lots of great features, some of which I haven’t even utilised yet.
For me, Ahrefs provides valuable assistance when creating long-form content. The keyword research tool has been brilliant for optimising content for the website of the brand I work for.
Easy to access Best overview result. 99% perfect results
Bit slow.. Can improve with interface. Bit costly
Checking UR, DR
The link expolorer is a great feature to understand competitor back link profiles. The Dr tool is useful to be able to understand domains power against others sites.
The user interface is starting to look rather dated and sometimes the platform can be rather slow.
It's helped us to understand what we need to do to improve ranking in search
I love how it helps in keyboard analysis. Also the dashboard is great. The best thing is you can get infos related to your competitors and backlinks analysis. It also provides regular updates about your growth
It is expensive. Also the lack of trial version is a drawback as you cannot test this before buying.
I use it to analyze websites. Export the backlinks and decide what are the best. Its a great SEO tool
Ahrefs is incredibly comprehensive and straight forward. From keyword discovery to site audits I use ahrefs for all my SEO needs. It's the first SEO program I was introduced to when starting me SEM management career and has proven to be the best time and time again. I've used their competitors liker moz, SEM rush, and a couple other services- none of which have come close to stacking up.
I think they could go a long way when it comes to updating the site audit tool. I think the reporting could be a bit more comprehensive when reporting the locations of issues and their in-links. Also I think you should be able to export all the results of a site audit an have them in a single spreadsheet.
Mainly keyword research, site audits, backlink analysis, and competitor research.
I think the greatest advantage of using this tool compared to others is that it provides the user the ability to dive deeper into data points without being taken into new tabs/screens -- you can quickly glean deep insights in an efficient way.
I would prefer if Ahrefs also used domain authority as a metric -- it's more universally used and prevents me from being able to use the tool singularly without cross-referencing information from other third-party tools
Keyword research and content mapping are more easily done with Ahrefs -- great filtering capabilities and the ability to see entire SERP's for a keyword with a click to enable both quantitative and qualitative analysis.
How user friendly the interface is. I can quickly find keyword rankings and suggestions based on current campaigns.
Doesn’t provide more than 10,000 SERP rankings with a $99/month subscription.
Keyword rankings and keyword research.
I use Ahrefs everyday. Whether its looking at holistic keyword growth across the Organic channel, or assessing keyword volume and opportunity across new terms, its always a helpful tool.
I do not have anything I particularly dislike about the tool.
It helps my team assess SEO opportunity for our clients and track growth across organic ranking terms, backlinks driven to the site and overall keyword opportunities
My favorite feature of Ahrefs is the keywords explorer section. I use this constantly when trying to rank pages/products higher and general optimization. It is also nice to see how we compare to competitors in Ahrefs rank, backlinks, and keyword rank.
I think they could add a couple other sections to the keywords explorer tab, or have better explanations for how they have that part sorted for easier use.
Any marketing professional understands keywords affect rank and rank is everything. If a customer is unable to find your site/products they won't ever use your business.
Easy to add website link and in short time you will get all backlink of the website. You can also filter them the date and Domain authority vise. Easy to use for SEO Executive.
I don't think any point that I don't link Ahref. But If they add the category of keyword than easy to find target keyword.
Using Ahref, I can easily analysis my competitor backlink and traffic. It's easy to generate a link from there and rank my page.
I like that it presents all the data in an easy-to-read way. I find it trustworthy.
I wish it had a stronger content strategy like how SEMrush and Spyfu have strong content regarding digital marketing. AHREFS has some good stuff (like their keyword cannibalization formula), but not as much visibility.
Helps me relay to clients what content is being searched and what their competitors are up to.
There is so much to like. Ahrefs is the best backlink management and monitoring tool I've ever used. It finds more backlinks quicker than any other backlink tracking tool, as well as a great option to attack and monitor competitors backlinks. Backlink acquisition is also made easy by Ahrefs content explorer that makes tools like BuzzSumo of no use to me. I can monitoring new brand mentions, mentions of competitors, and new content with a specific keyword. It's keyword tracking is amazing, as well as the SERP management and monitoring. You get a great view of the entire site, subdomains and even specific URLs. Content marketers also no longer need to use Adwords for their keyword planning! Ahrefs has a great keyword planning system that is super helpful to come up with new ideas for content.
Expensive. Like all backlink monitors, it doesn't pick up anywhere near all backlinks and is slow to pick up new backlinks. However, all backlink tools have this same problem and Ahrefs is the best of those tools. One of my biggest gripes is that Ahrefs drops backlinks and count them as a lost domain, but after looking into the dropped campaigns you find that a majority of them are still there and Ahrefs dropped them from your backlink profile for an unknown reason. I monitor a ton of keywords, so the rank tracker tool is kind of a cluttered, useless too for me.
Backlink monitoring and building, keyword planning, SERP management and monitoring.
For link building, the best tool there is, period. Incredible database and very easy to use.
Keyword research is a bit limited, especially in the cheaper plans.
One-stop shop for SEO link building.
The functionality to analyze backlinks makes ahrefs wonderful. It’s hlpful to add it to other tool sets you use as no tool catches them all.
Their supports is a little slow,...but only mentioninyit because I ha e to find one thing to dislike.
Evaluation of backlinks competitors are gaining from media sources.
I love the ability to get insights on keywords, competitors, back links, and domains.ni especially like it for keyword research.
It’s anlittle hard to navigate at first. There are so many options you don’t know where to start.
The primary benefit of Ahrefs has been the ability to do keyword research for paid search.
I really like the power of the tool. It can handle all sorts of different measurements, helping you identify strengths and weaknesses of your website's SEO.
I pretty much like the whole package. If you are a beginner, you may struggle at first.
We use Ahrefs to measure our SEO performance. It's a great tool that clearly identifies strengths and weaknesses.
