It is extremely easy to use and a great tool to help educate others for no cost to them.
We have had a channel with Brighttalk for 3 years and we have never had any issues. The staff is amazing and the reach out is expansive.
We have been able to spread our reach and we have been educating audiences and helping people with their Cyber Security and Threat Intelligence issues for 3 years through Brighttalk and we are so pleased to continue to do so!
Ease of use. You can host engaging webinars with only a telephone line and a computer, and BrightTALK do the rest. They supply their own marketing, giving you the freedom to perfect your presentation and consequently engage with a potentially untapped audience.
Fees for multiple edits after webinars are expensive. Audio quality is only as good as the phone line. Not convinced of the effectiveness of BrightTALK's own promotion of individual webinars.
Engaging our clients with timely, live material that allows them to connect directly with our brand heroes and ambassadors.
Platform for webinars in cyber security.
Everything. The service, the product is really buggy and hard to use. The BT team tries to squeeze more money out of you after getting paid a premium. The integrations took half year to work properly. Can't launch a campaign because they want more money for better targeting, after you paid for it already.
Nothing, use Zoom and upload to your website / youtube for the same results at a fraction of the price.
Their customer success manager did try to help us when we had issues (thanks Trish!).
Unfortunately, there are several things that I am unhappy with. We had multiple issues with the integration to HubSpot, where some contacts data either didn't come through partially or at all. We also had bad experience with their lead generation package, as leads from BT were of significatnly worse quality then what we could aquire by promoting the webianrs via LinkedIn, which resulted in MQL costs 3x as high. We had further issues that during onboarding some aspects of how the platform work (ie. people can too easily register by accident to a webinar, even though someone is marked as having "viewed" a webinar this may not be the case and viewing duration should be used for lead qualificaiton) led to lots of frustration from the sales team, who would call people who did not even remember registering.
We wanted to use Brighttalk to increase our lead generation. We did achieve this, but the lead quality is very low and not worth the investment. As a platform, there are way too many issues with it.
I cannot provide any details about things I like about brighttalk, as we ran ONE webinar with them and they failed miserably.
our company leveraged BrightTalk for a big Webinar we were hosting. We drove a ton of attendance to this webinar and AS IT WAS SET TO BEGIN, BrightTalk rescheduled it due to technical difficulties.
None - they are costing us business.
I was introduced to BrightTALK just over a year ago, and as a leader of many webinar events, it's been an exceptional experience. The platform is really easy to use, with more features and tools added regularly. What really sets BrightTALK a part from the rest is their excellent service and support. I always know a professional will help me to get my job done more easily. That is an invaluable in today's day and times.
I think the fact that users must be members to see content can be problematic. Sometimes I want content gated and sometimes I dont. What would be nice if there was a "preview" feature for non-users to get a glimpse of our content. That could possibly motivate them to sign up and see more.
It's really important to rely on one platform/service that everyone in your company/team can feel comfortable using. BrighTALK has been that platform. When there are backend issues with leads or metrics, my colleagues can easily reachout to their team to figure out solutions to challenges. BrightTALK is also adding lots of new features that makes managing and hosting a webinar much friendlier and more fun for everyone participating. The service and support are definitely one of the marquee benefits of the service.
BrightTalk is a reliable, stable and easy to use platform. Customer support is good and they take on board feedback and new ideas. Greta integration with marketing automation technologies.
Would like a face time feature to flip between camera and slides/screen
Reduces the need for us to travel to present to clients and enables us to hold interactive sales, training and educational sessions, beyond the webcasting
My CSMs were good and worked hard for us until they left. The platform is usable (not saying much).
I've been running our campaign with BrightTalk for a year and am honestly pretty disappointed—specifically in the lead quality. Low bounce rate on the emails, but the phone numbers haven't been quality. When a user clicks a webinar, they are automatically subscribed to your channel and sent to your CRM, even if they misclicked. This is a problem in regard to intent and results in a number of leads who have no idea why you're reaching out. The cost over all is quite high for the lead quality. Just hasn't been a good experience for us.
Supposed to help us generate high-intent leads who are in a buying cycle for software like ours. Just wasn't the case for most.
