My point of view is there's nothing i would like to dislike about GoodAccess
The way im running my business, worried free
GoodAccess is very easy to provision and manage. Staff find it easy to set up and we're able to invite users with a simple email sent via the web panel. We've been able to easily move the company to remote-only over the past year and GoodAccess has been a central part of that.
We'd love to be able to set an expiry date for access when inviting users, as it would make management even easier. We'd also like to see a native ARM-based version of the software, as currently we have to set it up slightly differently on those devices, which is slightly more time consuming.
We use GoodAccess to provide the static IPs required to access a number of critical tools, and the software allows us to very easily provision this out to our staff. Most people in the company have access, and being able to easily provision a VPN to about 150 staff has been incredible useful, especially over the past year while we've all been working from home.
We make a lot of use of the static IP functionality. The affordability of the platform is also much better than competitors.
The interface takes a little getting used to, maybe a help guide pointing out what each bit of the site does would be useful.
We had a subscription issue where we were billed even though we had an email saying our subscription was expiring but this was solved very quickly. The static IP function is really useful for the business when working from home.
This tool is excellent, offering an effortless user experience. Its configuration process is straightforward, making it easy to set up and navigate. The design for team management is well-thought-out, simplifying the process of onboarding new team members. Additionally, the granularity of permissions allows for precise control over resource access.
Occasionally, the Internet connection tends to slow down noticeably while using the VPN.
We operate a fully remote team dedicated to digital product and software development, with direct access to our crucial company servers. To ensure the appropriate level of access for each team member and to safeguard against information leaks and potential intrusions by malicious entities, we rely on Good Access.
We started using Good Access during Covid when our entire workforce started home working. They were a good price point compared to their competition and one of the only ones that allowed for a small team and use a fixed IP Address. During Covid, Good Access were a live saver for our company and without them, we simply would not have been able to work. The VPN is very simple to setup, using either the Good Access application or by exporting OpenVPN configuration files. Some of the new features such threat detection and mapping connections have been amazing and very well done. All in all a very good company to use when a VPN access is required.
Some of our users had issues with the Good Access application to gain access to the VPN. Their support though was very helpful in getting us back online and offering different solutions.
During Covid Good access allowed us to continue our working day seemlessly. This has continued after, with all of our home workers still using the servicer. It allows the entire copany to stay connected and eases collaboration.

The VPN works for the Dev Ops team, no problem that I'm aware of.
As an administrator I cannot access the website from my laptop's browser. I've tried several different browsers, have cleared my cookies and cache, and used incognito mode, but it still doesn't work. The only way I can make it work is via my (personal) smartphone, which is less than ideal. I've reported this several times but have not received any response on the last few occasions. I am being ignored, which is very unfair and unprofessional.
My particular problem has not been solved, but the Dev Ops team successfully works remotely.
I'm very happy with GoodAccess, it has proved to be a very reliable and stable VPN solution for our team. I particularly like the easy set up (for both users and administrators), the well designed intuitive team dashboard and client app, and excellent customer service and support.
I can't think of anything. We did have an edge case user access bug that was resolved quickly and is resolved long term with the addition of SCIM which they have recently added.

During our experience with GoodAccess, we encountered some issues with the Access Control feature when integrating it with AWS Cloudfront. However, the customer support team was responsive and helpful in identifying the problem. This issue may have been resolved since our last interaction with the service.

User Interface is very intuitive and easy to understand. The ability to control access to different websites and applications using access cards is a huge plus. I also love that the VPN desktop client doubles as an app launcher if you choose to list apps on it. I cannot see us moving away from Good Access.
I wish there was more guidance on how to format connection strings and other information when adding websites/applications to your company profile.
Our company needs a reliable VPN that is easy for users to understand and use. With GoodAccess we get exactly that and even more features that we didn't know we needed.
