We can connect to all the accounts that we need to and schedule posts effectively. We can also have multiple team members with limited access if needed. We also appreciate their support.
There are certain posts that require a follow-up action, such as importing them into Instagram and then posting it when they come up in the schedule. This works, and may be the way it has to be for certain posts, but it is still really annoying.
They are providing a good social posting platform for scheduling our content at a better price than many of the bigger players. This has allowed us to put those saved dollars elsewhere.
I love its ease of use combined with the low pricing. It is very user friendly and we very rarely have errors with our weekly posts.
There is no ability to create a task and place it on the calendar. We would like to plan out future social posts and emails on the calendar, instead of having to use two different calendars for social media and all other non-social media content or to-be-created posts.
We were using Hubspot and it was killing our budget. We needed something less robust but still easy to use. After a lot of research, we landed on Social Pilot and have been very happy with it ever since.
They seem to always be adding great new features that help us schedule our content effectively and efficiently.
There seem to be a lot of bugs specifically in regards to connecting accounts. Not sure if that's a SocialPilot problem or the social networks issue.
Consolidating all of our clients accounts and making it easy to give clients access to the content calendars.
It’s a surprisingly solid tool for a very good price. The numbers of accounts and profiles that you can have already on the smallest paid plan is quite generous and the reason why I choose Socialpilot.
There is only one queue per account and the times you can set for pre-planned posts are all round numbers.
I use Socialpilot mostly for planning my posts. However, the reporting features and the RSS import are also quite handy.
The support team is very fast, even through e-mail
When you plan some posts, you don't see errors until the channels have posted them (and then it is already too late, and I lose time because I have to delete the incorrect post and set up the post again for this channel)
I can save a lot of time with planning one post for many channels
SocialPilot allows posts to be drafted and scheduled across multiple platforms. The calendar allows easy drag-and-drop rescheduling. For the price, this tool has everything a business would need to manage a social content calendar.
Social posts appear in the feed with the line "Published by SocialPilot", which makes the posts look impersonal. Also, each social platform has a different size limit on images, so you need to manually duplicate posts and upload a modified image that fits each social platform. Otherwise, images can be cut off. I wish there was automatic image resizing for each platform and a way to preview posts as they will appear in each platform, mobile and desktop.
Before using SocialPilot, we needed to manually upload and post social content on the day we wanted it to appear. Using SocialPilot allows us to save time by scheduling posts in batches.
It's very easy to use and to get setup. You can start posting very quickly.
We seem to get some disconnections errors, so we have to go back in and reconnect our social profiles.
Speed of social posting and keeping things organized.
The price is quite affordable even for SMEs, and it has the most important features. Plus, they are always developing new features and the support service is quite fast.
Some features are still missing, but I guess it can also be related to some restrictions from the social media channels.
Posting in multiple channels across our variety of business areas and the possibility to approve posts.
For the most part, SocialPilot can easily and effectively publish social media posts for all of our accounts and platforms (which is something that past social media schedulers were not able to accomplish for us). The user experience is straightforward and easy-to-use, and editing for each platform is super simple. In general, SocialPilot is an easy to use and effective social media scheduler that I would 10/10 recommend, if it's able to fix up a few minor issues.
There are minor things that make using SocialPilot difficult. Often times, we're prevented from scheduling a post due to image proportions and size, which means we need to use an online image compressor to compress the image several times before we are able to schedule. There should be a way for SocialPilot to process larger image sizes, or at least provide an internal compression and resizing tool to make the job easier. There are also issues with scheduling videos with a greater than 1:00 length to Instagram, although we are able to upload larger videos manually (without using SocialPilot, but this defeats the purpose of prior scheduling). Removing the ability to select mobile reminder is also a tad difficult and it would be great if the feature can be added back.
As an agency, SocialPilot allows us to seamlessly and effectively schedule social media posts for several clients, across several different platforms, at required times. This saves a TON of time from having to manually publish each one.
The RSS feed, built-in Canva.com integrations are great tools to have. I also really like the groups which make it easy for agencies.
Not having the ability to post stories to Instagram and Facebook.
Scheduling social media posts in advance for multiple social media platforms.
Our company marketing tasks have become easier when we started using Socialpilot. It has very fast services for making our marketing campaign easier. The campaigns are managed easily on the user-friendly interface of SocialPilot. The calendar helps us manage our post data and time.
Customer support needs improvement as they have very little knowledge about the system. They are not able to entertain queries. You can suffer if you try to do manual posting on Instagram. So, it is not helpful for manual and organic marketing. Campaign scheduling is required in the system which will help us in scheduling the posts and the campaign tasks. This feature should also have automatic alerts which will make our work easy by reminding tasks on time. Overall, it has good features.
SocialPilot has made our work life much easier and more efficient. We can manage our daily marketing postings in minutes. The connectivity with social media platforms is also very easy. The price is very less and the features are amazing. The software helps me post to the accounts of our business due to which my marketing tasks are completed in less time.
If you just need a simple scheduling tool and don't want to spend an arm and a leg, SocialPilot is for you. SocialPilot has a simple but effective user interface, which makes it easy to learn and feel like a pro with it instantly. I love that they have a Google My Business functionality, which is unique for a social media scheduling tool. I am most impressed, however, with their fantastic customer support. First of all, prominently on every screen is a button to submit a feature request. This makes me feel like they're interested in not just evolving, but listening to their customers directly as they build new features. Whenever I've had any problem, I submit a contact form and a REAL PERSON from support emails me within the hour. Whenever my problem has gotten complicated, they are quick to jump on a video call.
It's a simple, no-frills platform, so you're not going to get a ton of fancy features with it at this point. It's still missing post previews, and tagging works, but only for business pages—not people (I've submitted a feature request for this).
I needed a simple social media scheduling tool as a first step for our company's social media strategy. While our strategy evolves, I don't know what fancy features are going to fit well for us, so SocialPilot is a perfect solution for now. It gets the job done, and doesn't cost an arm and a leg for features I don't even know if I'll need.
I like the white label feature. As an agency with many levels of social media marketing clients, having a platform of our "own" really helps us give the perfect service to each client.
The setup was a bit of a headache, but once we got everything completed we've had no issues.
We now have a platform that encompasses all social channels and is easily managed on a client by client basis.
I like the fact that you can have almost 50 accounts sync. I also like the Chrome extension so I can post links right away in the calendar. Social Pilot is also very affordable compared to other automation software.
The tool to use Canva does not seem to work correctly.
I struggle to find the content a lot and I like that Social Pilot gives suggestions for content. I love the fact that I am saving so much money and am still able to handle so many accounts.
The scheduler function allows me to organize and post content for an entire month in advance. I can be sure that the content will post on time and all different media formats I can also edit posts after they have been scheduled to go out, posts can be re-shared, and times changed/edits made. The platform is easily navigated and easy to use. The functions work quickly across all of our business's social platforms. The social analytics component is very beneficial and serves as a great guide to understanding how your content is doing and who exactly your audience is.
I have to manually go into social platforms such as Instagram to upload stories - this would be a fantastic tool to add to the service. It would be amazing if this could be scheduled along with content. It would also be advantageous to add a blog sharing option/text sharing instead of a link. Sometimes a post doesn't match Instagram's dimensions or size requirements; it would be constructive if there could be a link to a site that explains how to fix this or even a tool on a third-party site that shows us how to change this.
- Content scheduled in advance - we are able to plan ahead for upcoming events, campaigns and promotions - Multi-posting on all social platforms simultaneously - as opposed to manual posting at different times - Able to organize content visually - Social analytics helps our business understand our audience better and convert clicks
Analytics and the content and Feed section
Uploading content still has quite a few flaws like format, and some platforms just don't work.
Mostly BI issues on our client's accounts.
The approval process for social media managers to create posts and have me review them before posting.
Unable to directly publish stories to instagram
Managing a calendar of posts for multiple social media accounts
Ease of use Low Learning Curve Flexible Works on all my different devices
wish the training library was more short videos
Content Consistency I am able to sit down batch all my content for the week and look like I am 1) consistent 2) posting in real-time This allows me to be more creative and focus on the bigger daily tasks
The reveiw and approval funtion is great!
Not everything is available in the app the same as it is the desktop.
Keeping social media organized for all platforms in one place and allowing for an appropriate review before the posts being pushed out.
It allows me to post on multiple social media channels at once when I might be out of the office.
Some of the limitations with photo uploads
It helps with time management; I can schedule posts for clients at the start of my day and work on other projects without worrying about postings.
