C4D is a very versatile software and at the same time it is very intuitive and easy to use even for who approach it for the first time. In addition the R21 introduces a lot of great features for animation and modelin.
I don’t appreciate the new pricing policy that force user to pay monthly for a non competitive price compared to the perpetual license.
C4C allowed me to switch form 2D animation to 3D Motion Graphics improving my daily workflow.
Its very easy to use. Many interesting designs can be easily made pretty quickly. Its each variant is streamlined for particular function. You can do almost everything from procedural modeling, animation, texturing, lighting, rendering, polygons. It can be integrated in a work flow that can include Adobe After effects. It will never crash.
Its costs almost or than $700 for a basic license, other variants cost more of upto $3000. It still needs a better workflow. Few things like body paints and UV can be much better.
Easy 3d modelling. It was easier to master it watching tutorials from digital tutors and grayscale gorillas cinema 4d resources. This software helped me to learn and master 3d modelling skill.
What I like the most about Cinema 4D is the mograph module, that allows really cool animations in no time, It's complete set of tools helps you create anything you can imagine, and along with the xpresso you can rig and connect almost any property giving you endless possibilities. I also find Cinema 4D to be a really intuitive and complete software, Its easy to learn,
I think bodypaint is a bit confusing and you need to spend more time to get the hang of it, and sometimes feels a bit laggy. I feel it really needs an update.
I use Cinema 4D for Motion Graphics animation and since I started using it I quickly realized it is the best tool for this, its mograph and animation tools are really complete and intuitive, they allow you to create amazing stuff.
One of the things I like about the new version of Cinema 4D direct integration with After Effects. This link allows easy management of the two programs and gives you that plus when working. Also Lens Distortion Support enables you to easily generate a distortion profile for any image, You can also remove distortion for tracking and scene creation, reapply distortion at render time, and save lens settings for future use if you wish. they have been introduced to help you sculpt more easily. The Sculpt to Pose Morph feature automatically creates morph targets for each sculpt layer, which lets you quickly transition from character design to character animation.
An unfavorable point for me is the cost of the program. Perhaps it is a bit expensive, but you simply have to give value to everything you can do with it
The benefits of having a working tool in which you can solve multiple problems giving several solutions with their element. Shortly manage the program may account for the scope of this product and finished loving it
When it comes to motion design, Cinema4D sits easily amongst the top 3D model and rendering platforms. Where other tools thrive on the perfect visualization of physical rendering, C4D soars with flying colors above the rest for motion graphics. The ease of jumping right into modeling, the efficiency of the UI, the ease of rendering dynamic simulations, all lend themselves to the overall wonderful experience of working in a 3D program.
As powerful and impactful as C4D is, this tool comes at a hefty price. Thankfully and after my time in the industry, Maxon (the makers of C4D) now offers a new subscription program that reduces the overall cost to the end user - making it more accessible to hundreds of thousands of designers around the world. The only way we had access was to a small select few who could afford to shell out a few thousand dollars or have access to it via our companies/businesses. But now, it’s a great tool accessible to the masses. I’ll be happy to see what comes of this change in the years to come.
Having a 3D tool that can handle a variety of workloads has been super helpful in my industry. The biggest benefit provided was the Team Render Client, a node-based rendering tool that distributes render jobs to a series of nodes. The more we build, the more powerful it becomes. There is no limit to this power and for that we are grateful.
The simplicity of the software and the efficiency and the quality of graphics we can create out of it. The tools like Mograph is impressive and the integration with After effects is awesome.
The Redshift is too costly. The bundle of Maxon One is very costly, though it has many plugins. There is no proper trial version too. Only disadvantage I see is the support for Redshift and no other renderers.
CInema 4D produces faster results. Always a great tool for shorter deadlines. We can achieve great outputs using the mograph tools. The possibilities are endless.
Things that I like about Cinema 4D are 1. It is straightforward to learn 2. The viewport can be configured according to other applications like 3Ds Max 3. The tools are modeling friendly 4. It is very well equipped and loaded with most of the tools and features for 3d graphics 5. Easy to export files to other formats 6. It has a built-in render farm (team Render) 7. It is super stabl
1. It is super expensive 2. Bodypainting and UV Texture editing needs to improve 3. Render output is not as good as other Softwares 4. It crashes in heavy scenes 5. Not suitable for developing interactive animation
Cinema 4D is a very easy yet advanced 3D Modeling and simulation application. However, it is very useful in 3d modeling but has a few problems when it comes to pricing the software, texturing UVs, animations, and rigging the model. It is hard to integrate with games.
C4D offers various features and tools for modelling, texturing, lighting, animation, and rendering. It can handle various tasks, from simple 3D modelling to complex visual effects.
While Cinema 4D has a wide range of built-in tools, some advanced features and specialised workflows may require additional third-party plugins, which can add to the overall cost.
C4D excels in motion graphics, providing powerful tools for creating animated titles, visual effects, and complex motion designs. Its MoGraph module allows for efficient and flexible motion graphics workflows.
