You get a lot of features for your money – more per price-tier than many other systems – and it's very reasonably priced. Integration and basic customisation is simple if you know CSS and HTML. There's also plenty of apps to plugin to increase a store's features, many of them free. The shining stars of Ecwid, though, are its support staff, who are knowledgeable, very helpful, and able to fix 90% of issues. If they can't help immediately, they'll go away and work on it, emailing a solution when they have one.
Some apps require subscriptions that can increase costs considerably over a few months or a year. Some basic features that could easily be integrated for free are provided by paid-for apps, which can add to the cost. More powerful features or integrations in the shop itself will require your own developer, or you'll need to pay the Ecwid dev team, which can also increase costs. The code snippet to insert a whole store section in your own website could have a greater degree of customisation to allow better integration, and a more feature-rich user experience.

I find the platform very easy to navigate, and the customer service has been fantastic whenever I have required assistance with anything. I find the subscription tariffs very fair. I think the options for having product categories, custom postage options for each product and indiviudla item variations very easy to use and clear for the customers visiting your website also
I can't afford the plan above the one I am currently on - but that isn't really a criticism of Ecwid!
With Ecwid I was able to break away from Etsy and start my own website whereby I don't have third-party seller fees and spend time and money advertising my own website rather than paying for ads to send people to Etsy's website!

I've Been Using Ecwid for a number of years now to run my online store. I really Like that it's good value, they are always adding new features and exiting new apps. I beleive its just whats needed to run the perfect online store. The Customer service is outstanding. Proffesional, friendly and always helpful with solutions and providing guidance when needed. The Platform is easy to navigate and very user friendly. They also have a great iOS and Android app where you can run your online store on the go. You can Set shipping costs according to many factors such as according to customers region, postal code and even by map! I highly reccomed ecwid to anyone wanting to start there onine store very customisable and poweful eccomerce system. You will Love it. I do :)

I dont need to be at a computer at all times. Im mostly on the go and being able to still run the store via the mobile app is amazing and has been a good advantage. Csv import and export as well as Bulk product listing tool has saved be a lot of time. I was also able to add my store with just some script to any existing website without the need to start over from scratch

I have a fashion/clothing brand in Pakistan. The most important factor here is availability of shopping cart (product catalogue) at various channel with minimal customization on each channel. Ecwid gives me website, facebook, Instagram and other out of the box platform integrations.
The modular enehcements are a bit annoying. Like it can easily add invoice customization and order editing in basic modules but you need to buy additional which is a bit annoying. Instagram for business is not present here in Pakistan which is also a problem. Also limited out of the box platform for payment integration in Pakistan.
As I told you I have a small business and although i am from technology world but my expertise are technology sales. So when it comes to implementation i have a beginner status. Ecwid is so simple to deploy that me with no real technical background easily can deploy, run and manage Ecwid as per my needs.
The ease of setup and the integration possibilities. The setup has you going through steps which make it clear what part of the store is being set up so you don't get overwhelmed. After the store is setup, you get tips over time on how to make the store better, which once again makes for a good drip-feed of information so you don't get overwhelmed. A very good experience. On top of that, the integration is as easy as copying an embed code and it seamlessly integrates with your website. A lot of companies advertise this seamlessness, but in reality it is very hard to achieve without coding. This does it.
I have encountered no serious issues I dislike so far. The more advanced features like a multilingual store are behind a subscription upgrade, but they are fair. For myself I am just in a tri-lingual region, but a regular store would be doing really well if they transitioned into a multi-language store, so it makes sense that these more advanced features are part of a higher subscription fee.
I now have a webshop that is completely integrated on my website. You can't tell that it is an external shop. I used to have a webshop that would open up in a complete different page/tab. Now my webshop is just part of my website and matches the design and colors as well. And as stated earlier, the integration is as easy as copy/pasting an embed code.
I like that Ecwid was easy to start and to use. Even for a person like me, without any technical background. Very well written help articles. And the support team is the best for my opinion.

The customizable features of the storefront are superb along with the ease of creating products and specializing each of them. I have found no other e-commerce platform that has the ease of the store setup.
I have yet to find something that I dislike about this platform.
Ecwid takes the load off of high incoming sales. Once everything is setup, you can then automate it as well. My customers immediately get notified of their purchase and shipping status, along with being connected to my membership site because Ecwid works with Zapier.
I’m very impressed with the ease of setting up my boutique with Ecwid. The free package is a great starting platform. The support team have been incredibly helpful, informative and quick when I’ve had the odd query - 10/10 for customer service. The suggested use of free apps to tailor make your website are super helpful and well worth using. Another enormous plus are the tutorials on so many areas of how to get the best out of Ecwid, with numerous helpful videos. Great regular blogs too which provide insightful ways to enhance and build your business. In summary, I’m really pleased I chose Ecwid as my business website.
Some basic actions require an upgrade from Venture, such as being able to write myself a note on an order ie separate emailed information from customer that I can’t add to the order; using post its is ok in the short term on paper invoice but this is a basic action that would be very helpful if it were part of the Venture package.
I’m not an IT guru, so having a ready made platform was far more manageable than setting up a website from scratch. Ecwid layouts provide a professional look I was looking for, many, like mine, are free. Ecwid saves a lot of time: 1. Ease of integrating a choice of customer payment systems 2. Ecwid’s analytics provided on the dashboard are quick to digest 3. Great way to speed up products being in my boutique with copying products, dragging photos into listings (far quicker than hunting them out and adding) 4. Customer listing and options for promotional emails, setting up coupons (discounts), site editing etc are a breeze

Ease to manage, friendly and stable. The platform allows us to do from beginner style things, to pro status. The add ons that different developers offers, are ok, many in differtent languages. The Marketin App Kliken, is ok, but it could be deepened since it's a very powerful tool, but as it's configured on Ecwid, it's very basic.
Our company has received down status from the front end, and for it to be an eCommerce platform, you can't have downtime for more than a few minutes. Also support is not that fast, for our queries. Features as Monthly Subscription Options should be available, now that;s a trend more than ever.
We've worked around a centralized eCommerce platform, that allows us to satisfy every worldwide customer. Our sales now are centralized with the platform, and we switched our business approach, to be 100% online sales, Covid helped this a lot to grow about eCommerce.
This will be the third website I have tried and it is the easiest to use! Everything is very easy to use and adjust! I am not that computer literate and I have found that this add to cart website is very easy for me to navigate!
The only thing I have found hard to learn is changing the wording for emails. You need to go into a certain area and try and figure out how to adjust the wording for confirmation, processing emails.
I have found that using Ecwid has really increased my production time. I am not dealing with customer requests as I am able to list all my options on the website and not have to send individual pictures to each customer and repeat myself a few hundred times to every person!
How easy it is to add products and plug it into my WordPress site! It's really nice to be able to get to all the settings right within my WordPress admin area. I can log in to Ecwid itself but I can also save time I just do everything from within WordPress. I like how easy it is to enable and disable products.
I wish there was a little easier way to configure shipping but shipping is tricky to configure with any ecommerce plugin. I wish there was a way to add extra weight for packaging items. I also wish there was a way to add video to the product photo gallery.
Making it efficient to get my products on my site. It's quite easy with Ecwid. I've used others before and this was a breeze (which saves me time!). I'm also a web developer and have used other WordPress plugins and I was surprised how easy Ecwid was to implement and get things going. I'll be recommending this as a standalone and as a plugin to extend WordPress. I also wish there was a way to schedule the product to be enabled (or have it go live). That would be a great feature. For my business, I tell my enewsletter sign ups when my shop will go live. I can get everything ready but then I need to go and enable everything at once. It would be nice to set that time. It's not hard now because the enable/disable toggles are right there in the product listing but it would be nice not to have to be at my computer to enable them.
