For what it cost to buy a domain from their site, I can't really complain about it. They could update their systems though to be a little more modern, but there site and app are still effective now.

About 5 years ago I met Namecheap.com, I fell in love with their prices, nowadays, it is the main provider that has security solutions, they provide all the security certificates that we distribute in our company. They don’t have the functionality to properly manage Australian domain names (.com.au), performing tasks such as WHOIS updates for .com.au is not an easy task to complete with Namecheap

Namecheap may not be the ‘big brand’ that you’ve seen advertised on TV, on the radio, in newsletter or on large billboards, nor does it do crazy promotional deals, however in my experience and countless other webmasters it is reliable, trustworthy and efficient, with a good level of support. It may be worth paying an immaterial couple of bucks more for domain name reliability in the grand scheme of things.
