It's very easy to have visibility on where all of your new users are in the training material and manage their progress.
If I'm being completely honest, I really hate the name. SchoolKeep wasn't great either but Trainual? Really? OK, that doesn't really have any impact on the use and function. As for function, I wish you could upload a video from your local drive instead of having to host it elsewhere. I know that Trainual probably doesn't want to have to host all that, but it would be nice if it were an option - even if it were limited to a certain total size or having a paid add-on.
Overall, there have been no real problems. It is pretty intuitive and easy to make simple changes/updates with very little hassle. It's also easy to use branding.
The functionality of the software is really great.
The UX for admins or those members of the team adding new training 'subjects' could be a bit more streamlined.
We are developing our internal training program and processes in Trainual. We like the ability to add quizzes as well as integrate it into our primary software via the API.
how easy it is to quickly create and share processes
i wish the formats could be more user friendly. i would love to be able to move things around and make courses look even better with more options on formats. i am not a fan of having to upload a video into youtube to then have to embed in into trainual. i would love if i could just upload into trainual directly.
no problems at this time
Well laid out. Navigation is mostly straight-forward.
There doesn't seem to be a way to view the contents of a task directly, without clicking the edit button. At least from Admin view.
It's has consolidated our SOPs to a single source, which is convenient.
I like the ease in which I was able to enter and organize the information I needed to get to my team
I don't really have any dislikes yet, we are family new to the trainual system and still growing our SOP
We needed a consistent training. This allows us to ensure everyone gets the same information every time and that the training is complete.
Helps to implement new processes to team
It can be difficult to navigate the set up side of the training. Searching for trainings that are still being set up are not easy to find when you have many in process
Solving the issue of making sure all team members are getting the same training.
Love the Subjects and ability to include video and document links. I appreciate the ability to add assessments and track progress of employees.
Wish there were more layers and the ability to assign at a more granular level.
Oversight of training progress, organization for training materials.
Ease of navigation and ability to make changes
I am newer to Trainual and don't have much to dislike so far.
ease of onboarding for staff
it is easy to build content, great customer service.
I wish you could buy compliance training instead of building this type of content yourself.
One training system for all departments. We haven't fully implemented the system to everyone but can see the future benefits when our content is complete.
User friendly, organized and self explanatory. Even the descriptions of how to use section was straight forward and simple instructions
I have yet to find anything I don't like
Being able to train new employees on a number of different platforms
Trainual is intuitive and easy to use. The system makes it simple to drag and drop items.
Trainual isn't as pretty as some of the other sites, but it has the same functionality.
Training for all levels of our company. We are looking to pre-qualify people for moving up in our company.
The modules are basic and easy to understand.
Cannot see individual scores on tests and also cannot have a tiered hierarchy for several modules. Was trying to use for product training and it would be a cluster with several modules.
We are using it for simple tests proving people are reading books.
Super easy to update! I love being able to attach and link out, too.
Difficult to get started - the UI is a little tricky to get up and running.
Consistent onboarding and information sharing like logins, resources, etc.
easy to compile important information to share with employees to help them get familiar with company policies and responsibilities
difficult interface with long load times
teaching important info to new employees
Having a one stop shop for my SOPs. I like that my employees can have the info on an app on their phone.
I am not able to get my employees on board to using Trainual. I don't have the time to make them valuable. I don't have the time to create quizzes.
Onboarding has been improved.
Having all orientation and training info in one place and easy to navigate.
Minor issues occur regularly. I have had to contact the support team multiple times because my employees get stuck on a topic and it won't let them continue.
It takes a lot of time to train someone face to face. It's much simpler to have everything in one place on a website where you can simply send the information to new employees and have them complete it.
Trainual is great for all employees to get training on the roles they need, and not on the roles they don't
It takes some practice to create a task/process correctly
Solving problems or getting the same questions over and over and having to answer it. now can just direct them to the appropriate training.
Once everything is configured, you don't have to do anymore with it until you need to update the curriculum and set up new users.
The Users List refreshes itself with every click; about half of my clients are not able to receive the Trainual Welcome Email due to either restrictions imposed by their IT, or they are not on Trainual's whitelist.
We are able to force folks to actually pay attention to the material we are training on by utilizing the tests and the forced order sequences.
