BigTime has the best features for small businesses to track hours.
I would of loved to see a few more inclusive options.
I haven't noticed any problems with the BigTime features I've used.
We use BT for time & expenses, and then invoicing, with everything integrated with QB online.
I chose not to use the BT wallet to receive payments due to the nature of the fees and how the unequal amounts are deposited to QB.
Time & expense entry by users is in one place and enables invoicing to the customer, with integration to QB for accounting.
I investigated several programs that could assist my organization in managing tasks. BigTime has been the only company whose sales and customer service staff took the time to explain everything to me.
BigTime is a tad on the pricey side, but its billing and invoicing tools are well worth the cost.
We are providing our clients with precise information on the amount of time our engineers have spent working and reports on billable time.
The UI of BigTime is intuitive and easy to use. I can go in on a daily or weekly basis and not worry about spending additional time to just input my time.
While the time input section is intuitive, the expense portion is a little less intuitive. My primary issue is that to expense specific items, I have to click submit first then decided to submit individual expenses. Ideally, there would a radio button to select expense that I could then submit.
As a user of BigTime, I am able to submit my time online via the web or mobile device without having to rely on a spreadsheet. By using BigTim, I can quickly and accurately submit my time.
Our agency has been using BigTime for close to 20 years. We use BigTime to track time, project future months, assess budget v. actual, and provide reports to our clients as back-up to monthly invoices. As our needs have changed, we needed updated reports. The BigTime spent time with our team via Zoom to create custom reports to meet our many reporting and tracking needs—something we could not have done without personal support from the. BT staff.
I wish the BigTime version we use was more commonly used.

WE had used time and project management tools to track project timing but bigtime also track expenses which are like the cherry on a cake. Personlly i love the UI of the Big time.
I think it is a little bit expensive than the other time tracking software.
We can easily track the status of the project anytime, anywhere with expenses.
This tool makes the process of invoicing easier, I can see all my projects and team partners in it and all of us can manage everything. I also like the support we receive from the Bigtime team.
There's nothing I dislike, it is very easy to learn to use this tool.
I'm using less time to do some tasks which is awesome and I also have more control of my finances.

BigTime has solved the problem for the need of a PSA as well as a CRM as we were able to customize it to fit our needs.

When changes are made in QuickBooks, you have to manually refresh the connection for those changes to update in BigTime.
We are a consulting company with 30+ projects we need to bill to. Employees can easily enter their billable work for multiple projects.
What we love most about BigTime is that it's a central location for many different functions. We use it for payroll, timekeeping, expensing, consultant billing, client billing, reporting, and as a project information database. We have a lot of employees that experience new technology fatigue when we try to implement software, so it's a huge perk that we can send them to one place for so many different things.
The mobile app is very lacking. We've heard that BigTime is working on this though. We'd love to use the app for expense tracking and timekeeping, especially while staff are traveling, but it's just a bit too clunky to use.
We have solved a big challenge of tracking consultant project costs. We created consultant-specific phases in each project and set up an estimated budget for each one. We add new invoices to those phases so we can keep track of where the budget is at. This is a huge benefit because it gives us advance warning if a project is about to go over budget so we can make adjustments before that happens.
That is user-friendly, and the customer support gets back right away with detailed explanations.
That I don't know where to go to get a quick seminar of better practices to use BigTime

Being able to collect and submit timesheets is the problem that I have solved with Bigtime.
I like the east at which you can track your time.
I don't like the fact that you cannot automatically have recurring expenses.
We are solving the problem of tracking time efficinetly. The benefits are that we can generate invoices much quicker than in the past.

BigTime is user friendly for both set-up processes and time/expense posting. We also really enjoy the reporting aspects and how you can create any required reports.

It works perfectly as a project based structure which matches company structure.
It reduced the manual tracking of projects and expenses, all tracking can be done automatically through this. Like it allows you to track the money expense in your company. No need to track using spread sheets and excells. It can generate reports quickly and accurately. And can be easily Integrated with QuickBooks. Its basically known for time information management. And for generating invoices and bills. Reduced manual inputs very well.
There is nothing much to dislike about bigtime, as i am the regular user of it and using it since 4 years and i have not yet experienced any issue while working with it. So i don't dislike anything about it
Through this i can now generate reports very easily and also i am now able to edit the reports and correct them. It helped me to do my work more accurately and effectively. I am tracking the expenditure of company. Using it for invoicing, time tracking, capital tracking, managing and tracking the projects.
The software is really simple to use once it is setup and their customer service provides great support for that.

BigTime could be better if an administrator was able to edit a staff members timesheet directly from their timesheet. Also be able to create purchase Orders in BigTime.
Marking timesheets a breeze with intuitive data entry and submitting time and expenses with easy-to-use. Building better processes starting with project creation and budgets through to time expenses and billing.
It maps well to our current system; so we don't need to learn a new way of thinking about time accounting.
There is a lot of capability... kind of intimidating.
