I like that i can track all invoices and time/expense with this product. The customer support has been quick and attentive from the start and i have had all my questions answered and problems explained to me. I just had a live chat with Evangelina and she solved my issue in about a minute.

One of our favorite features is the mobile application that makes timesheet entry as simple as making a phone call. Another great feature is the dashboard which allows me to see how much time is being billed against my organizations billability. With BigTime I can define billable rates by client, job, task, and the person performing the work which gives me the ability to track variable pricing for work performed per individual and any combination of client, job, and task. Since this is defined at the start of a job, I don't need to worry about the billing details once it's setup.

With a distributed workforce working multiple jobs for multiple clients, trying to figure out how to bill a client based on the associate performing the work for a specific project and task required me to collect timesheets and process them manually into the accounting system for billing. With BigTime, my employees simply enter the hours worked per job and BigTime figures the rest out for me and integrates with my accounting system. This has improved my invoicing (with BigTime Invoicing) and accuracy of accounting. I spend more time making money and less time figuring out how to collect it and where it came from.
Big Time is very user friendly tool to enter work time. Its mobile/ app feature enables to enter the time on the go. Its comparability with different platforms such as Quick Books helps track the budgets as well which comes in handy. They are also providing API access to synchronize it with other platforms such as Salesforce. You can also run reports for Resource Management.
It does not have time forecasting feature.
Big Time helps the employees to enter work times for WIP projects. It also helps the upper management to run reports and analyse the resource utilization and budget tracking. With the mobile app, employees can fill in the timings on the go.
There is so much to like. Creating invoices before use to take an hour or longer for each one now we can do it most times in less than 10 minutes. We can now have easily accessible data for tracking and trending our expenses and payroll. Also, Bigtime gives us really nice project management tools for staying on top of work and expenses.
I wish that it could close the loop and not only tell our employees what they submitted for payment but also present to them Quickbook data showing when they got reimbursed and/or paid.
We are getting much better control over the profitability of our projects as well as decreasing the amount of time required to account for and make expense reimbursements.
BigTime gave us the flexibility to configure the way we needed to track time against projects. It is very easy to bring a new person up to speed with very little if any training.
I really can't think of any dislikes. BigTime performed well for all the functions we used.
We wanted to track actual hours for each project or activity. We were able to set up our project numbers and give our engineering staff the ability to select projects from a list and assign time. We also tracked Paid Time Off, vacation, holidays and bereavement time. Another nice feature is flexible reporting.

Project Time Tracking and Invoicing
Digitizing paperwork, entering & saving paperwork,time sheets & employees expenses and syncing the data to desktop Quickbooks.
Setting up reports are not consistently user friendly.
A payroll report is created from employee time sheet data entry & synced to Quickbooks which enhances the efficiency & accuracy when generating payroll. AP invoices, overhead invoices & employee expenses are digitzed in Big Time & synced to Quickbooks - it improves on managing corporate expenses though it does not save time for processing expenses. Client billing backup & employee labour costs can be attached to Client Billing.
Begone excel! no more faffing with spreadsheets and multiple tabs. Bigtime was the solution we knew we needed and absolutely delivered in delivering value for us and our clients. billing was so much more accurate and accountability was improved. super easy to get setup, the team took to it well, and life was just so much easier!
downsides, well it definitely can hack off those who don't like accuracy, but honestly they need their butt's kicked at times. other than that, it's a new system , it takes a little time to get used to, but it's all good!
speed and accuracy, have both improved by at least a bazillion % clients are more clued up and bought in, they know exactly what they are getting and WHEN!
I really appreciate having all the features related to employees, vendors, clients and projects all in one place. The product was so easy to implement within our business. The integration with QuickBooks was very easy with the assistance of our implementation contact at BigTime. In the off chance that I need Customer Support they have always been quick to respond. Most issues turn out to be in users errors.
There is nothing that I dislike with BigTime. However; I do have a future improvement suggestion. I would love if BigTime could add in time off request and tracking products.
BigTime is working to approve their Analysis tools allowing us to track more details against our clients, contracts and employees.
I am new to the BigTime platform and I was presented with a question that I could not find the answer to. I used the chat feature and within minutes I was shown exactly where I needed to go to obtain the answer to my question. It was super helpful....and made me look like a rock star!!!
I am an administator for BigTime in my company and I wish there was a way that I could see BigTime as a non-administrator. I have provided direction to my co-wokers based off of what I see in BigTime but they did not and it created a lot of confusion.
We only started using BigTime last month so we are still in the process of learning the tool - but the main resolve will be invoicing. Being sure that invoices go out and go out in a timely manner.
BigTime has been the solution for our firm for time tracking and ensuring our budgeted hours are monitored and projects are always profitable.
There can be small improvements made to the back end programming for additional customization for various types of firms and work hours which I know are ongoing.

It's very easy to use even for beginners, and very easy to configure and forecasting and utilization tolls are also a great feature as it helps us to manage staffer availability.
Sometimes we felt integration issues to sync with other apps like Quickbooks. Migration is little bit challenging. Customer support is not satisfactory.
BigTime is helping us to track both our expenses and the time spent by the employees for the allocated projects. It expedites the payment process through the utilization of the bigtime wallet.

BT is very user-friendly. As a relatively new user, I have found BT to be a logical, very robust system. It handles tracking our time and expenses charged to many different workplans. Invoicing is simple. We utilize the sync feature with QuickBooks.
Recently, we have encountered numerous little glitches within the system. BT support has helped resolve our issues.
