Exponea lets you to experiment with your website really quickly which enables marketer to interact with customers really quickly.
Most unlikable feature of Exponea it is not standard YET. You have to learn something which you are not familiar with.
We use Exponea for optimizing user journeys and lead generation on our web through various campaigns.
Exponea enables me to create a campaign in a few clicks and helps me be both more efficient and effective in my work. Particularly, I like flexibility of email editor and personalization possibilities which help me to create relevant content to our customer and send it to them at per-person tailor time. Exponea’s flexibility enables me to think of infinite number use-cases since from my experience there is always a way how to do it in Exponea. There is always a consultant ready to help me and support on my hacking journey for a new out of the box use-case.
There are occasional UX struggles which however do not influence the functionality, rather design. I would like to have an access from mobile which Exponea does not offer.
Via Exponea I manage whole communication with our customers where we create several types of emails such as x-sell, up-sell, reactivation, onboarding.
Exponea finds new ways and strategies how to optimize and improve performance of marketing campaign in various channels. It is value driven and helped us to drive increase in both conversions and value per visitor. I personaly using Exponea for preparing, sending and anylysing email campains. I really like the way, I can design campains scenario, define who is going to be affected by the campain and at the end evaluate campain.
That I can´t edit email templates designed by WYSIWYG editor later in HTML form.
We use it for most of our triggered emails based on events tracked by Exponea.
Apart from great UX which makes the platform very easy to use, even for new user, I appreciate how expeonea empowers growth marketers by making them less dependent on IT departments. This solution makes designing, test and evaluating the impact of new email campaign, web layer or targeting incredibly easy. Last but not least, it works very well with 3rd parties - we''ve been enjoying the benefits of its integration with both Facebook and Adwords API lately.
Since Exponea is still a fast growing SaaS company, there are obviously some growing pains. We have noticed that are account managers have been changed a couple times. I assume this is due to rapid growth of the company itself.
As I mentioned earlier, it empowers marketers by making them less dependent on the IT. If we decide to test a new trigger-mail scenario, we do not have to ask our IT department to do all the heavy lifting - prepare the segments, set up the mailing etc anymore. This provides us with dramatically quicker iteration cycle and allows us to test a lot more hypothesis while saving precious development time. Additionally, I enjoy the fact that customer segments from exponea can be used as audiences in both adwords and facebook - which provides us with even more smart options in terms of LTV management.
I like simple and intuitive UI of Exponea. It is very easy to use, create campaigns and target segments even for non-experienced users. The impact/success of the campaign can be evaluated easily with provided stats.
The response of the application is sometimes too slow (especially when importing bunch of photos).

Exponea consists of two large families of features, i.e. Campaigns and Analytics. We use mainly the analytics part, that is crafted into an easy-to-use Dashboard, which represents a one-stop-shop for important indicators and metrics. Where you can easily add or edit Customer Profiles and make use of behavior history and analytics to improve result delivery times. Thanks to event attributes we can run aggregate or expression, for example you can select event session start and its attribute country into rows. There are also multiple modifiers in report metrics, which help visualize our the data in tables.
Since we work with Exponea dashboards, mobile application would be much appreciated.
We use revenue attribution report to get a comprehensive overview of acquisition sources and customer touch-points leading a purchase. Multiple models include first/last touch, linear, and time decay. Also Exponea allowed our IT department to refocus on their traditional operational support roles.
There are many templates to be used and even though it is highly customisable for a skilled programmer, it is still user-friendly enough for everyone.
The downside for me is a heavy need for hard skills in statistics, analytics and/or coding. This comes hand-in-hand with customisation possibilities, so this is something to prepare for if you want to tailor Exponea to your every need.

No complains at all. It's full time job to take care of Exponea. Contains so many features and options of use that we have had to hire new team member to make sure we use in on 100%. I think we still have the backlog ...
