Drift's chatbot product allows us to create basic chatbots for small one off purposes and complex qualifying bots that help filter out the noise that would ultimately slows down our sales team.
Reporting capabilities are still lacking so being able to get trending data is still in the works. Looking forward to their future releases of more robust reporting.
Increasing demos and trials of Sprout. The biggest benefit we've seen is not just the increase in conversions but also the quality.
Setup and kickoff were very easy. We were fortunate to have an incredible Client Success Manager assigned to us when we began working with Drift, she worked 1 on 1 with us to assure our instance was set up the way we needed it to be.
There are some quirks that pop up from time to time where we disqualify leads in the chat and they still get pushed through to our CRM as MQLs. We also see older playbooks and past seat holders appear on the chat bot.
We are trying to interact with web visitors when they typically wouldn't interact with us. We've been able to get more qualified information from prospects before handing them over to our sales team.
Drift is chat-first, so their functionality for real-time communication is better than what's provided by e.g. HubSpot, Intercom. They're releasing interesting features at a rapid pace. It's intuitive, and sales teams can pick up on it quickly. They're responsive and they really do love their customers.
Reporting can be buggy and is not particularly customizable.
We're using Drift on high-intent pages for our prospects that want to speak with someone right away. We've actually found that bots *decrease* our conversions on forms when we're not available, so we're using it real-time during business hours only. Drift deals are bigger and close faster than our other lead sources.
Love the bot features, and we already see leads coming from our own website!
The Drift email connection takes a bit getting used to.
Filling out forms for demos takes quite awhile to get replies from, and sometimes they are missed opportunities. Strike while the iron is hot!
It is a very smooth interface with plenty of options to customize based on various conditions. We also implemented an ABM strategy with our sales team using Drift.
The POST API calls The reporting isnt great.
ABM Lead Generation CRO
increase in monthly demo set up faster qualification automated demo set up increased conversion
there is nothing i dislike about drift. everything from functionality to customer support to sales is phenomenal
drift is amazing. we are booking more qualified meetings each and every month
The automated meeting booking works really well.
Some notifications feel unneeded, but overall it's good.
It helps us book meetings
I like the idea behind drift and the live view on who is on the website
It was pretty complicated to register. The app could be better
quick response to customer
It spans all areas of business development.
Could be integrated more into rest of tech stack.
They help with inbound and website tracking
The layout is clear and everything is simple to use.
Not Drift's fault but that ping notification can drive you mad.
It acts as the center for multiple call lines. It allows us to field calls and make sure they go to the right people.
Integration with the tools like calendar, CRM and Email. Also, it´s easy to use.
The colors could be different, more attactive. It looks like a bit "bi-chromatic" in my opinion (black and white).
It is very convenient and fast because it has integrations with my tools so everything is connected. Also, the look and feel is very intuitive.
Seeing the activity on the sight is helpful for prospecting
I've had difficulty engaging prospects when they're live on the site
See which prospects in my territory are engaging with our content.
How easy it is to you utilize. It is very user friendly as well as quick.
I wish there was a way to export a conversation straight to someone that it would be useful to see the conversation. In a PDF form
It's solving being able to have a conversation with someone who needs assistance when I may not able to get to thier conversation as soon as possible.
Notifications of customer interactions on our website, specifically what information the prospect views.
The desktop application is not fully robust yet; any interaction other than messaging will send you to a hyperlink making the application essentially redundant.
Inbound messaging support.
With so many accounts its hard to keep an eye and check a dashboard repeatedly. The notifications help stay on top of what is happening with website activity.
I'd like to have a bit more customizability of the incoming notifications.
It primarily helps me to discovery buyer behavior and intent.
Drift offers our website visitors a quick and easy way to interact with our solution experts and qualify prospects when they are ready to talk. The flexibility in conversation routing allows us to connect visitors with the right person to answer their questions or book a meeting after hours. The customer success team is always very helpful and willing to go above and beyond to help our team find success. If there is information or analytics that we cannot find in the platform, they will pull that information and provide us with the analysis needed. We have worked with a few different customer success representatives over time and have never experienced a gap in support. Drift truly wants to see its customers succeed and is constantly making the effort to improve their platform and product offering.
It can be considered a large investment compared to other chatbots, but the ability to quickly engage with our prospects delivers a nice return on investment. The in-platform reporting could be a lot more flexible, but the Drift team is constantly making improvements and considering customer feedback when making platform updates. I typically need to export conversation data to conduct a detailed conversation analysis and uncover chat user trends. The bot could use a little bit more customization and flexibility in the way messages appear.
Drift is helping us engage quickly with prospects on our website and answer any questions they have about our solutions. We can also nurture target accounts with Drift Prospector and gain valuable insight into our website visitors and their behavior.
Drift is a great platform with a great user-friendly experience including its app. As an admin, it was much easier to navigate than other platforms I have used or tested in the past with respect to admin-related tasks.
Building the "playbooks" was challenging and while our rep provided some assistance I was ultimately told that it costs more money to obtain assistance in setting up the playbooks and routing.
Drift helped us connect website visitors to information, webstore, and a live sales representative if desired. It also allowed website visitors to book a meeting with sales reps. This assisted us in closing business in a more informative and timely fashion.
Drift is one of the best chatbots I've used. It is very intuitive and easy to set up. It allows our sales team to have real-time conversations with prospects that are ready to purchase. There CSMs and support team are absolute rockstars and I can always count on them when needed.
No significant dislikes, but I've had some issues when syncing data to SFDC.
Drift allows our sales team to have real-time conversations with prospects that are ready to purchase.
As an SDR, Drift is helpful with outbound activity. Drift shows accounts that have contacts who are active on our site, which helps me prioritize. It also shows the pages the account visits to help tailor my messaging. It is interactive as well to start conversations with live site visitors. It is easy to schedule meetings as well.
Sometimes there are bugs on Drift. For example, if a prospect is active on our site and "wants to talk to sales", Drift does not always pull in the right point of contact or it will pull in multiple contacts.
Drift helps me find and prioritize high intent accounts. This benefits me by reaching out to warmer accounts that are familiar with our company/product/solution to help get a meeting easier.
Drift's ability to ask questions to prospects when they open the chat, and route the chat to the right rep assigned based on customer size, type, etc. This helps especially in the complex healthcare space of routing leads to SMB vs. ENT.
We have had issues with receiving notifications on Drift. We had to enforce the mobile app to be downloaded, and that seemed to be the workaround - however, it would be helpful if the desktop app / browser were better with sending notifications.
Drift is allowing us to engage with prospects that come to our website and want to speak to a representative. We have rolled out licenses to our SMB and ENT teams so they can engage with their respective accounts and territories. It also solves the issue of booking a meeting for us if a representative cannot respond to the chat.
