"Seamless scaling with considerations for cold starts and stateless nature"
What do you like best about Google Cloud?

It allows you to deploy and run containers without managing the underlying infrastructure, which provides a serverless experience. It supports multiple programming languages and frameworks, offering flexibility for developers. It integrates seamlessly with other Google Cloud services, which facilitate the development of comprehensive cloud solutions. It automatically scales your application based on traffic. You only pay for the actual resources consumed during execution.

What do you dislike about Google Cloud?

It needs to be containerized which might be an additional step for developers unfamiliar with container technologies. It is designed for stateless applications. If your application requires persistent storage, additional solutions may be needed. It has limited execution environment whose system-level access is restricted and certain processes may not be allowed which affect compatibility with certain applications. There can be latency when a new instance of your application is started, known as a "cold start", which might impact the response time for the first request.

What problems is Google Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?

It solves the problem of managing infrastructure by offering a serverless platform. This allows developers to focus on code without dealing with server provisioning and maintenance. It addresses the challenge of diverse technology stacks by providing support for multiple programming languages and frameworks. This flexibility benefits developers working with different technologies. It benefits from automatic scaling which ensure that the application can handle varying levels of traffic efficiently. This scalability feature contributes to better performance and cost-effectiveness. It offers a streamlined development and deployment experience, enhancing efficiency, scalability, and flexibility for developers and organizations. It eliminates the need for managing servers. You don't have to worry about provisioning, scaling, or maintaining the underlying infrastructure, reducing operational overhead.

"The best database management service tool"
What do you like best about Google Cloud?

Google Cloud SQL helps to manage relational databases. It will also help you to set up and administer your relational databases. It removes database administration tasks so you can focus more on your data.

What do you dislike about Google Cloud?

There is no downside to using Google Cloud SQL, but one of the concerns could be that data is uploaded to the cloud, so there can be a risk of data loss, data leakage or data breaches.

What problems is Google Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?

The main problem that Google Cloud SQL solves is removing the data management and administration tasks. Also, DBMSs like SQL Server and MySQL, when runs on the cloud, perform much better than on-premise.

"A great solution by Google to run serverless applications on cloud"
What do you like best about Google Cloud?

The best thing about Google Cloud Run is that it supports code written in any programming language. It is straightforward for a developer to deploy their code with a single command. Deployment of Docker Image simplifies the developer experience.

What do you dislike about Google Cloud?

There are fewer reasons to dislike Google Cloud Run. Some events are not available in Google Cloud Run but are available in Cloud Function, and Firestone is one of them. The transition from Cloud Run to other vendors can be complex.

What problems is Google Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?

Google Cloud Run removes the requirement of managing resources or creating any infrastructure. It makes the deployment process very easy for the DevOps team. It is also suitable for code that handles event and requests.
