Jungle scout is VERY easy to use! You can use the chrome extension to use on any amazon page that you are on. It lays it all out for you to understand. It goes into depth about how many units people are selling, how much revenue, and also what is the potential for you to succeed selling those products! There are also more reporting you can receive if you wish!
Compare to other services that help determine amazon volume, Jungle Scout tends to be on the higher end determining volume. That could skew my decisions, but it is hardly ever misleading!
Jungle scout helps us determine what products to sell, how many we need to sell to get to the first page, and help know more about our competition.
It's helpfull to use Junglescout when you want to sell on Amazon in the EU or USA. When you have some issues, you can contact the servisecesk, they will react even in the weekends. When you buy the software, you can immediatley start using it.
It's not cheap when you have to pay almast 70 dollars / month
Which product niche is good for me to sell some products
I love that it offers unlimited review requests.
I haven't found anything I dislike about Jungle Scout.
We need more reviews on our online markets and this will send out the request for qualified purchases.
It's an excellent tool for researching Amazon and gathering product analytics, and an even better place to learn the ins and outs of selling on the platform. Their mini courses alone could probably save people thousands of dollars by teaching you how to be smart about product selection, sourcing, and inventory.
My biggest thing was that I'm not really in the market to sell random products, which is what I feel like this platform is great for. The opportunity finder does allow you to stay within a niche, but it'll quite literally show you something like a rubber seal for sink piping. Sure, you can make money on that, but did you have that in mind while starting your brand? This is definitely for people who essentially want to start an Amazon General Store.
Jungle Scout helps you discover what's worth selling on Amazon. That benefits me by saving me time and money by offering up accurate product research data.
viewing ranking, sales, perf, sellers, updated info
updated sellers and sales, more info about product if it's profitable product ?
to get latest info about product, sales, competition
The simplicity and high quality data is the main benefits of Jungle Scout. Unlike a lot of competing software, JS doesn't fill their tool with unnecessary junk. Instead, it focuses on the main tool and idea, and delivers on it with great focus.
Some important features are missing, and some of them are very simple soon I don't understand why they aren't added. For example, something that helps sort out and collect single word keywords and single word negative keywords.
I mostly use JS for market research, keyword research, keyword ranking tracking and product listing creation. Their dashboard tool is okay as well. The keyword tool is the most important part for me and it solves the issue of wondering what keyword to add to our listings to increase traffic and sales
The support service; they are very gentle, kind and helpful. Also the tool is very useful for an Amazon seller and gives you the proponer data to start your business
Some date might not be always as perfect as you would like to, and maybe you have to wait a few days to get some information about certain products but still is good
The data about my competitors and how to get in order to jump into certain niches in the e-commerce business. They really know the Amazon services and how to provide a good service too
The fact that you can find your competitor's suppliers. Also their training, the webinar or however they call is also excellent. They're defintely very legit!
Too amazon orientated, it would be great to share more of the general business knowledge as they clearly got it. I watched one of their webinars and it was on point, no waffle just straight facts.
I was trying to extend my network of suppliers and they have a fantastic tool to do that. Also they answered a lot of my questestions in regards to importing, negotiating prices, shipping...
They have many videos where they teach you all the features of the platform, which helps to understand it.
The product tracking system. In its main competitor it is not necessary, the data is already available and you can see the sales if you need to track them.
It is a good system to begin to understand keywords and how Amazon works. It is used to detect possible products to sell on Amazon.
The user interface, features and youtube channel content.
I found that the accuracy of estimated sales might not always be 100 % correct for some products.
Getting an idea of sales estimates across different niches. Tracking products and sales data.
Jungle Scout is super versatile in what filters you can use to find the products you're looking for
UI is pretty lousy and has lots of room for improvement
Finding products to sell in our market that has high demand
Early on, the keyword and product scouting aspect of Jungle Scout was very helpful in building our listings and determining how to best optimize the copy and the content for maximum search visibility. Now that our account is more mature, the tracking is very useful for daily alerts, competitor tracking, and also the add-on tool which allows you to request reviews through Amazon's approved methods easier.
The daily reporting is not altogether reliable. We'll go for days without receiving the scheduled alert updates before it starts back up again. When this happens, I check that our info is still current, the amazon account is synced and connected, and the alerts are still scheduled to send at the selected time and frequency. It also has trouble with the UI lagging at times, and can't always display the information when there is a lot of line items to generate.
This tool has helped us to make our listings very polished compared to where we started. It also has helped us to better monitor our inventory and any changes Amazon makes to our listings that may need to be addressed.
It´s really easy to manage. Elegant and easy. Including the Chrome extension.
I always have to "Select one or multiple categories". I would like to have my categories by default.
New ideas to sell. Very useful to see the keyword history. After five months, I am almost ready to sell my first product.
It combines so many optimisation tools, it very much is the Swiss Army Knife of seller tools
Accessibility is not great for screen reader (blind) users
It helps to identify new product opportunities in any niche or market. It is very good for UK as well as US (and other countries). The optimisation tools are also so very powerful. it
It's quite easy to add and track products you've identified as potential options. I feel the data is pretty reliable and it's nice to be able to organize products by thematic lists.
I wish the basic account level allowed for the tracking of more items. Also: due to my specific business, I really only need to access JungleScout for research once every quarter or so. I wish there was a way to pause subscription or have some kind of limited access/some other type of membership that better fit my specific business needs.
I've been able to gather data on potential products to determine if I should pursue them as an option to sell. With another (free) tool I was using, the data was poor and I made not great business decisions based on bad data. I feel that the data I get with JungleScout is more reliable and will help me choose better potential products.
using reverse asin over multiple asins at once saved a lot of time and helped gather valuable keyword research
i found the AI software quite tricky to use
knowing which amzon keywords to focus on - JS has helped to identify which ones we should and should not be targeting
perfect for finding niches and studying the sales of competitors
At the moment I have no problem, I only have it for a week but everything is correct
comodidad y rapided en el analis y busqueda de productos. me da las palabras clave correctas para mi listing
The ability to review Amazon sales on products, the Amazon plug in and the range of webinars and tips to help you make a success of being an Amazon seller
There could be more tools to make and save searches, with more 'serving suggestions'
Product research- makes this easier, consolidates info and brings Amazon stats across in a useful way to help pick the best products to pursue
The dashboard captures a lot of useful information about my product performance and its easy to understand
Would be nice if the product also give some information about potential cost of advertising for a potential product during product research
Mainly Performance monitoring for my product and finding new potentially successful ones
Jungle Scout SEAMLESSLY simplifies product research, and provides a birds-eye view of any niche's performance on the market. With Jungle Scout, it is easier to determine search frequency of any product, seasonality, and competition levels. I love that this tool leaves nothing out...you will understand what you're up against with fulfillment fees, projected sales volume, ranking levels for that product, and more.
Jungle Scout (actually most similar tools) seem to have slightly missed the mark on how to most effectively compile data for analysis. Sometimes this results in skewed/inaccurate measurements (substantially, in some cases). I wish there were some sort of tool for estimating international shipping costs, and perhaps coaching on how to build reviews on your product according to industry rules. While it is nearly an impossibility, I wish there were a feature helping narrow down warehouses that would potentially house your product (to help estimate your product's shipping costs).
JS is helping me avoid unstable niches, and zero in on the products with the best margins. Jungle Scout also helped me find some of the best products with little competition. I recommend using this tool in conjunction with others of its kind (as cross reference). While it offers a lot of information, you can never be too careful when investing large amounts of time and money.
