I like the flexibility. You can set QBES up to be very simple for ease of use by the client, or it can also be very complex allowing for complex inventory situations and job costing. Plus, there are a ton of add-on applications that expand it's capabilities even further.
Probably the think I dislike the most is the fact that it is so easy to modify an existing transaction. The good news is that there is an audit trail, but that adds a whole extra level of documentation that needs reviewed to resolve a problem.
We have a ton of clients that use QBES and we also use the software as outsourced accountants and bookkeepers. We are handling every day business transactions and much more, including inventory management and job costing.
