I like the price of Robly. I also like how it does not duplicate contacts and how it is easy to merge lists.
I really dislike the fact that you cannot embed videos into Robly. This is something I think is crucial and linking a picture of a video to the video is not enough. It is also sometimes frustrating when there are glitches/random coding errors in the emails. I also wish that when someone unsubscribes it made them list a reason for unsubscribing.
We are reaching our patrons very easily. The analytics in Robly are also very helpful and they allow me to understand which emails are successful.
I like the neat features it offers that other platforms do not all offer. Robly is really making an effort with troubleshooting and the videos they created are a great resource.
I have found Robly to be very glitchy, inserting photos and moving them around is very difficult.
We are still in the beginning phases of using Robly and have only launched a couple of newsletters with it so far.
Existing templates are innovative, mobile friendly. OpenGen is definitely a huge plus. We get an additional 8 percent bump in our total opens using OpenGen. That is huge for an association newsletter.
Text anchors. They suck. I would like to have a simpler way than a three step process to link my table of contents items to the titles of each section of the newsletter. Photo captions. It is really inconvenient to not have captions for photos in a newsletter. Bullet formatting. When I type in the text and bullet a list, the template shows me a lovely lineup of the list, left-aligned, very clean. When the newsletter test/final goes out, my bullet list ends up more indented with lots of white space on the left side. This is a lot of real estate in a newsletter.
Using OpenGen has increased our member engagement and awareness of what we are accomplishing on their behalf.
Nice, easy email design tools, intuitive workflow, good reporting data. Links made it easy to share and review with team. Customizable email from, reply to, and names from deliverer. Can personalize messages for customers. Unlimited segmenting .
Didn’t integrate well with other programs - list management could be better with CRM integration. Also, maybe some reports send out to show how emails perform - and a way to export that data better.
Once we started really utilizing the tool and having well designed emails go out regularly, we closed more sales with prospects. Customers also said they felt adequately informed thanks to emails.
Robly's emails will format nicely for both desktop and mobile versions of email. This helps boost the click through rate and customer engagement.
Robly did not have the greatest analytical reporting on all campaigns.
Robly makes it pretty easy to A/B test emails which allows you to test and optimize for what content will be most effective in engaging the audience.
I like it because it is set up to see who read your email, and where it bounced and who complained
Im having problems understanding how to compose emails and when I ask support, they tell me to go to the Help section. Im not so tech savvy and need someone live on the phone to help me navigate through
I am running Robly along with another email service so everytime I use Robly I have to coordinate with the other site to remove customers emails.
The main reason I went with Robly was the affordability.
Robly over promised and under delivered. For instance, I was promised a data base of Big Stock photos and that has never happened.
I own a real estate school and it is critical to my business to communicate my class schedule to my potential customers. I have not realized any more email openings with Robly but I have saved money due to Robly's lower price.
On the face of it the interface was good and it does give you a lot of flexibility in terms of managing your mail database
We have very poor open rates following the sending of email campaigns.
We have now returned to Campaign Monitor, which, even though it is less flexible in terms of the data management and reporting, people receive the emails.
My computer saves my password so it's always easy to log into the program.
The constant headaches caused by failed merge tags, the inability to properly draft, access, and send emails from a mobile device, the links that suddenly stop working between the last test email and the blast, and the insane process to add and import new subscribers along with the lack of a dedicated API to connect with third party email sign up services and custom forms.
Literally none.
I loved the way that the email resend were set up No other email marketing company had the email resend option at the time that I was using Robly so i loved that feature and the ability to make campaigns based on who opened or didn't open each email
The customer service was absolutely horrible. And it's a shame, because it was one person who ruined the entire experience for me. However I believe it was on ongoing issue based on their lack of ability to communicate in an efficient manner after that first poor experience.

I appreciate the ability to automate email to participants. I have little experience navigating program however I wouldn't mind more experience.
I am wary of programs that seem to lose personal contact. Although when generating large distribution lists it eases the problems that occur with Basic programs I am Milyer with.
I am currently an able to deploy this at my place of business. However I am able to participate in using this program on other platforms.
