App and browser versions; easy to create and re-.org size tasks.
There isn’t nothing I have found that I dislike.
Project management, customer service, productivity
The organizational structure is simple and intuitive but still seems to have enough functionality for everything I might want to do with it. I use it every day.
The premium version is too expensive without subsidization from employer
Projects with variable due dates (long, medium, and short term)--it keeps me organized without getting overwhelmed.
This tool rocks. I use the Pro version for some of the upgrades, but even the free version is amazing. It allows me to track projects, daily to dos, and pretty much everything in one of the best interfaces I've seen.
I can't think of anything! Perhaps that the commenting system between collaborative users would be easier to track. Right now it's a little bulkly.
I'm managing projects across my team more effectively and always have a clear picture of what I need to work on.
Todois is an excellent tool for task management or simple project management. I have used both the desktop mobile version, as well as the Chrome extension. Todoist makes it very easy to keep track of to-do items that may be one time tasks or repeating tasks. Also, Todoist does a great job at creating a well design product that is easy to use.
I would not recommend Todoist for anything outside of small or simple task management scenarios. I have not been a big fan of using it for larger projects, as there are better tools out there. Other than that, there really is not much else to dislike.
I used Todoist for task management and simple project management.
As a proverbial To-Do List queen, making the switch from paper to Todoist was a breeze, and I love, love, love swiping off completed items. Is there honestly anything more completely satisfying than checking something off a to-do list? Doubt it.
I don't think it's Todoist's fault, more so my own - chaotic overwhelm. I have a tendency to add items as soon as I think about it, but then if I scroll through all my various projects, it feels daunting. Assigning dates help, if and only if you can stick to it and set them far enough in advance.
What I love most about this app and the desktop version is that you can share projects, and get notifications when your team members complete things from your shared list. Great for the productivity obsessed teams like ours who never have to ask, are you doing that or am I? We just know now and it works great for late night braindumps of things to do.
Syncing all your tasks into projects with their required completion dates across all your devices
The cost...the free version is great - but when you pay it unlocks so many more great features...it's just a bit more costly than I'd like. I still paid!
My life, both professional and personal has gotten more and more hectic. Todoist allows me to add notes as and when I think of them, with a notification and then let Todoist remember them for me. Being able to do so across my devices (mobile and desktop); and from many different applications (browser, app, mobile app, email client); even using voice (Alexa, Siri)
It has a very intuitive and keyboard accessible UI. It helped me quick assign and schedule to dos on the fly. It helped me especially when my company was using a very cumbersome and inefficient project management system.
I loved everything about ToDoIst. I'd highly recommend it to anyone who needs a task management tool and doesn't need any serious PM tools (Gantt, resource management, etc).
It helped me stay organized on client requests and on following up with the fulfillment team.
What's not to like? It's quick and easy. You can integrate it with Chrome and just click on the button to see what you have to do. Decision fatigue is a killer and so is trying to remember everything that you're supposed to do over the course of a day. Todoist simplifies all that so you can focus on getting things done...and, I hope, making some money while doing them.
It kept pestering me to change my timezone even though I had the correct timezone on my PC. Some graphics next to the things that need to be done could be fun, but that might make the interface less clean (I'm not a GUI expert, after all).
I use it to manage my daily life, which is pretty important. It works just as well for business as it does for making sure you call a friend once a week or whatever it is you feel compelled to do on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.
I love that todoist allows you to organize everything you need to do in as many ways that you could possibly think of! I need lists and to be highly organized so this helps me do that in my own way and digitally. The site is visibly pleasing and allows for customization. I also like that I can share progress and assign tasks with my team
I dislike that there is not a better mobile or desktop application.
We are using Todoist to have our team stay on the same page, use less sticky notes and to track progress. I am realizing the benefits are plentiful and that we are happier when we can see what we need to do, have already done and who will be taking care of what.
I like the app in chrome, because sometimes I remember tasks when I am the computer working, and with that I don't need to use my cellphone to add.
Honestly, I do not dislike anything. All I need is there.
With this app I have the possibility to track any project I am in, even supermarket list. And, since it has an chrome plugin I can use and add task wherever I am.
I love the user friendly interface, having the list on my phone and receiving reminders
the product functions well I’d prefer to manage my reminders so that I receive them during work hours only
On the go task list so I can organize and work through tasks easily
Before I had a hard time reminding myself on how to do things and haven't got a time organizing some tasks at work which leaves me unorganized. Having installed todoist is one of the best choice I made, because I have used this app for 2 years now. As I am a web developer I rely mostly on browser extensions and I don't have much time using desktop apps. What I like about using todoist is that I can categorize everything I want, from personal things to work related tasks. The app is amazing everything because it gives you an option to put a label of priority according to your need. You can also send it to your colleagues at work and the tasks assigned to them can be commented for a better collaboration.
As of now I don't have something against the app or something that I don't like because it's best for me. But something is not quite clear for the karma part where it detects what tasks have you done. Maybe I just want to customise the priotizing part of the tasks/reminders so that it won't be just a generic priority 1-5 label.
It is the task management which is solved.
If disaster hits and and I fall behind, Todoist makes it easy to pick up where I left off
Hard to set up multiple reminders, since it only lets you automatically add one to each event.
Being able to upload documents makes it easy to schedule reading. I also use it to schedule times to reply to longer email inquiries.
I love that it's extremely customizable. You're able to set due dates, repeat tasks, and create tags.
I don't love the email reminders, but there may be a way to disable them.
Able to see all my to-do's in one spot.
I love the flexibility that it provides and the ability to share.
Lack of customization when it comes to being able to prioritize.
Tracking tasks across large teams and projects.
I love the ability to add on to my google calendar and have the app in an easily accessible spot at all times. I also love the reschedule the overdo feature and the calendar reminder option.
There is not much I dislike. I do not use the productivity view often or much at all, but that may be for personal use.
My organization and prioritization are taken care of with Todoist. It is great for keeping me on track.
I absolutely love this product. I love that it is so simple and user friendly. I also love that it seamlessly integrates into every aspect of my life, including my android phone, gmail, gcal, and chrome. I don't have to be concerned about missing a task across any platform!
I'd like it to be easier to share tasks. Also I don't like the fact that the premium version costs so much.
I'm able to handle tasks more efficiently. I can have something populate from an email in gmail, automatically to my gcal, and then automatically to my Todoist!
You can keep the different aspects of your life organized. The to-do lists within to do lists is an aspect that paper planners or even pre-installed apps don't have.
I wish this tool was available through more avenues. If a deal can be struck with apple and this becomes the primary app, so many people would be more aware and take advantage of it.
Project management is so much more manageable especially when you have different groups handling different things. Plus people will able to see your changes in real time.
being able to prioritize each task and rank it
Needs more customization features and creative ways to organize one's day.
it is too simple. Needs more way to layer down the task.
What I like the most is the reactivity of the tool, I can very quickly create a new entry or archive an existing entry
I am currently in evaluation mode and I fell sometimes that I miss some options
I have to deal with tens of cases at the same time, so in order to be organized and to keep in mind where I am for each case, I create entries in Todoist to manage them
