So simple and powerful combination of marketing tools
Cannot think of any dislikes yet, very happy using the various tools available on this portal.

The best thing about Gist is that it is a complete CRM solution for any business and has all the necessary features that you need in one place. You don't need to buy 2-3 softwares for managing your users if you have Gist.
Gist provides so much features that's why the on-boarding and setup experience can be a bit confusing for new users. It requires time to understand and implement all it's features but it's not a con really.
Gist helps us to be there for our users as and when required through the live chat feature and respond to the user queries instantly.
Loving the integration in one place. Normally I will need to use other third party tools to integrate the communication and data from chat bot to live chat to email marketing and sales automation. Now.. I only use Gist. I have been using Gist for a few years( ex Convertfox) for one of my main sites, and i am still a very happy user.
The flow in chat bot can be improved. Support can be better.
I can manage all the leads and follow up efforts in one place. A great time saver for my business indeed.
I love how easy GIST was to set up and the features that are continually being added on. Being an early adopter of digital marketing products, it's hard to find ones that continue to deliver on their promises to improve the product.
I wish the basic automation was visual so you could map your marketing sequence out for emails. I thought this was going to be part of my plan, but it wasn't. Could have been an honest mistake. The original UIX wasn't very appealing or intuitive, but they've done a great job improving these areas with their new UIX.
I'm using this as my email marketing platform, live chat, and scheduling platform. I'm very pleased to have all these products integrated together, along with the ability to add a knowledge base in the future. It's already been helpful to see which prospects have reached out via chat, so I can tag them and send email campaigns to them.
What i like about Gist is their price combined with their essential marketing tools that you need every day on your operation. Whatever website you have, you need GIst. Gist have been evolving with a very clear and robust roadmap. I like were the company is headed.
What i dislike are very few things. Maybe more integrations with popular platforms Wordpress and popular Wordpress Membership site plugins.
The problems i am solving are, having an essential tool all companies need to have at an affordable price. They don`t take advantage of their position of being an essential tool.
Great tool for managing contacts and much more. In-app messaging system with calendar integration for scheduling meetings makes setting up calls a breeze. We can also directly send knowledge base articles from within the messenger. Ability to tag/assign tickets/conversations to other team mates so there's no need to use supplemental tools for task assignments. Tracks user activity and provides real-time data!
The only thing missing is the ability to merge tickets/conversations but I was informed that it's in the works.
I am a customer support specialist so I answer sales inquiries, FAQs and perform product demos. It makes the entire process seamless so I don't have to toggle between different tools/apps.
I love the easy to use layout and the ease of setup. Be it marketing, sales or support, Gist helps you in all of the aspects of your business and your website. Features like email marketing, events tracking and marketing automation are really useful in automating most of the tasks on your website and focus on what is important, i.e. Growth.
I wish to switch between the accounts was easier. A newbie might easily get confused when they try to switch between the accounts. I know they are making it better with each day but this should have a prime focus. Also, user profiles can be made more stable and easy to use. I say get more ideas from Intercom and implement them in your product.

If you are looking to improve your customer service, then you definitely want to check Gist. Their all-in-one tool has live chat, email marketing, knowledgebase, meetings, sales process automation and lead capture forms. Their tools also integrates with most popular saas platforms so you can combine your business tools functionality to streamline all your processes.
What I don't like right now is their lead capture forms which are too basic. Hope they can also come up with a highly customizable form editor so that we can create beautiful and enticing forms to capture leads.
Customer service such as answering enquiries via livechat. We have seen live chat is very effective and it will increase your site conversion as they know someone on the backend of our website is always there to answer our customers' questions.

Having new clients to easily contact me on my site. Gist make it super easy to reach out to add my new contacts on my email list for future updates about my company newsletter & new offers.
We like customers to be able to contact us any way they like. Gist helps with this. And if we happen to need to respond via email, we can do that as well.
With the email responses, wish it were able to not include our signature.

Gist provides endless ways of interacting with customers. I can chat and email with them, track their usage on my site, qualify them, add tags and other profile information, and so much more. There is even an awesome live view that lets me spy on visitors to see how they're using the site. The tools are powerful, easy to use, and constantly getting improvements. It seems like every week there is another update being rolled out that substantially extends the functionality or usability of the features in Gist. I am blown away.
Plan limits can be confusing. For example, there is a monthly charge for support and a monthly charge for "growth," plus there's a separate charge depending on how many contacts and seats you have. Perhaps this is normal in the industry, but it can make it a little challenging to understand the bill every month. Additionally, the vast amount of features means development will never be as fast as you'd like it to be (even though they release updates all the time). This may not actually be a valid concern, and it certainly isn't unique to Gist (who doesn't have a wishlist they're waiting on their favorite SaaS to get to?), but I do believe the likelihood of being stuck without your desired feature being developed goes up a lot as the product gets bigger and bigger.
With one platform I get chat support, email marketing, marketing automation, and all of my customer relationship needs met. It's a wonderful tool for simplifying my tech stack.
Gist allows me to organize my users and talk to them anytime. It makes it so easy to be in touch with my user base through various methods like live chat, email marketing, broadcast emails, campaigns etc.
There is nothing in particular that I dislike about Gist. There is always a scope of improvement in any tool and I hope they continue to fine tune it further through regular updates.
Gist has allowed me talk to constantly be in touch with my website visitors through their mobile app. It has allowed me to answer their queries without any delay.
I very much like how the conversations with website visitors are in a very user-friendly type of chat interface like I'm used to from social media, while still having the power to tag teammates, assign tasks, and add details on the contact. I also like that it can handle requests that come in via email and Facebook Messenger in addition to our on-site chat widget.
I noticed that requests coming in via email do not always preserve special characters (like accented characters and such). This would be nice to fix but does not prevent us from using the feature.
We use it for a website chat widget, for prompting visitors when they've spent a while on our pricing page to join us in a chat, and as a way to deal with one of our shared inboxes. We are still using Zendesk for our customer support inbox and for our knowledge base but I'm leaning heavily towards replacing both of those completely with Gist which will give us a one-stop shop for all our shared inboxes, chats, and knowledge base.
Love the wide variety of tools in the app that helps my business in many ways. Love the chat feature, bots, marketing automation and booking meetings the most!
I wish we could choose a custom icon for chat widget as well as to have a visual builder for chatbots.

We've used the webchat feature to streamline our inbound marketing & answer customer-service queries. Been fantastic! We can't wait to dive in more to some of the other tools they offer.
Gist allows different messages for different pages of my site.
The Gist Smartphone App whilst displaying a numeric Notification does not Sound an audible alarm and enquiries are often missed. An option to select a notification sound would be useful.

There are a lot of different ways to do things. I love how I can tag users based on their actions and send out an email blast or even a drip campaign to only people with a specific tag
It is hard to know where to start because there is so much to it and as far as I can tell there isn't a "getting started guide" to help new people who may be overwhelmed.
Mainly they're who I use to send out emails and I'm working in other integrations with other services that are supported to build out what I can do with their automation software. I hope to really be able to identify what my traffics specific interests are and really go deep with it to get them what they want.
Gist makes it super easy for my website visitors to chat with my team live and their mobile app is perfect for connecting on the go!
There aren't any negatives that I've come across yet. Gist works perfectly for what we use it for.
Gist allows my website visitors to get on demand information, from a live person right when they're looking for it. That's 10X better than having a plain ole contact form will ever be!
All in one platform to manage and convert your prospects. My favourite feature is the ability to TAG prospects.
There is not yet the ability to easily create and customise forms, without the need for HTML or CSS.
Gist has become the cornerstone of my customer experience, support and service. Also, it provides a way to convert users into paying customers.
