The live feed is really great. It allows me to quickly debug issues.

What do you dislike about Kissmetrics?

The reports are awkward. I can't figure out how to get what I want. I could write the SQL for what I want, but I would have no idea how that translates to KM's tools

What do you like best about Kissmetrics?

The visualization options are solid. The reports are fairly flexible. It's nice to have analytics somewhat centralized.

What do you dislike about Kissmetrics?

Integration with my company's database has failed over and over again, and Kissmetrics either shows no data or inaccurate data. The company keeps moving the platform to different URLs. The documentation for implementing database connections has left our dev team a bit confused.

What problems is Kissmetrics solving and how is that benefiting you?

It's most useful for tracking customers/visitors through the funnel. Some of the aggregated data reports have questionable results.

"Couldn't Find Any Vaue and Took Forever to Set Up"
What do you like best about Kissmetrics?

Our account manager was a nice guy and he tried to help, but in the end, the product was useless to us.

What do you dislike about Kissmetrics?

Our dev team invested dozens of hours integrating KissMetrics calls into everything we needed to track. It required a lot of testing and back and forth with their support. When we finally had everything being tracked, we needed to set up our dashboard and reports within the tool, which was also a somewhat frustrating and unintuitive process. In the end we ended up with a metrics dashboard and some funnel reports that didn't tell us anything beyond what we already were getting in Google Analytics. We tried a number of times to fiddle with the options in the tool to see if we could extract some value from it, but after 7 months of fiddling and payments, I decided to pull the plug this $200/m expense. We ended up spending over $1200 and at least 80 hours of time on it. All wasted. The worst insult though, which drove me to write this review, was that when I cancelled and explained my frustration, I asked if they would consider some kind of partial refund since we never really used the tool and couldn't get any value from it. Not only were they unwilling to do so, I was told that they have a 30 day cancellation policy and even though I sent my cancellation request in on Feb 25th, they would still be processing my UPCOMING March payment. This is SAAS software. They should have no problem cancelling my billing immediately. I call bullshit. Seriously not impressed. What a frustrating experience.

We were hoping it would track our sales and help us identify the channels that were driving sales. We found it didn't give us anything beyond what we already had going with Analytics.

What do you like best about Kissmetrics?

Marketing campaigns are incomplete without Kissmetrics. I personally love the tool for funnel side and love the way it simply breakdowns the data. Can't get much enough like Kissmetrics on any platform. Testing multiple landing is my favourite.

Tracking real people, doing A/B split tests, behaviour results and tracking events is something I use. The benefits are if I use a free tool to do the same it will consume my lot of time but since I use Kissmetrics they help me do it in fractions of minutes and very efficiently. Which could've been quite impossible for me to do so.

What do you like best about Kissmetrics?

A great modern design providing easy access to advanced features for building complex reports. Much easier to craft a detailed report than in Google Analytics and provides excellent summaries for the user flow through various features on the site being tracked.

What do you dislike about Kissmetrics?

The individual person page could be more useful by showing properties over time and a table of the events which have occurred with all the properties shown together.

What problems is Kissmetrics solving and how is that benefiting you?

The funnel reports make it easy to identify weaknesses in flow through features, where people ‘give up’ with configuring certain features. By identifying which areas to focus on, it was easier to dedicate development time to the areas which needed them the most.

What do you like best about Kissmetrics?

We have Saas type service, cross-platform like web, two apps for iOS and Android. KM is the best solution for user-base tracking for us.

What do you dislike about Kissmetrics?

It's not always bad point, but since KM is not like Google Analytics, we have to plan, design what/how to track. Because of those process, some of our colleagues don't understand.

What problems is Kissmetrics solving and how is that benefiting you?

We're using KM for very basic conversion base tracking, such as, who and how many users drop off at check out pipeline etc.

Easy of implementation, funnel and cohort visualisation.

What do you dislike about Kissmetrics?

Took time to fully understand the implementation process. Was misguided more that once by KM onboarding team.

What problems is Kissmetrics solving and how is that benefiting you?

We wanted to implement user tracking, Google Analytics does offer user-id feature but it fairly limited and hard to implemented. With KissMetrics we get this out of the box and the implementation was pretty easy.

What do you like best about Kissmetrics?

The most difficult thing to do is to use identify the metrics you need. Then it's easy to configure and to use. The engage feature is also very useful as it helped us increase conversion by 750% on some pages. More over the team is super helpful and their webinar are amazing. Definely the best metrics product.

What do you dislike about Kissmetrics?

It's a little hard to know which metrics to start with. But as soon as your done everything runs smoothly.

What problems is Kissmetrics solving and how is that benefiting you?

We increased conversion by 750% on some pages. We were trying to understand where our users are coming from and where do they left. We were also trying to understand the feature they love and the things the don't. And thanks to Kiss metrics we can do all of that.

KissMetrics is excellent for tracking all of the little things on your websites. From log in buttons to purchase buttons you can track it all.

What do you dislike about Kissmetrics?

Although Kissmetrics is excellent to use, before you start using it properly it takes some time to actually learn the steps on how to get started.

What problems is Kissmetrics solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our team at MindMarket is now tracking the apecific advertisements people came in to our website from. This is saving us 100's of wasted dollars on unecessary advertisement.

What do you like best about Kissmetrics?

The easy integrations with our third party tools, hubspot and segment to create a tangible analytics platform to track customer behavior and make informed decisions.

What do you dislike about Kissmetrics?

The UI can be sluggish and sometimes confusing with the logical statements. Also the logical statements can be limited on what you can and cannot do, but it is not a stopper.

We are trying to solve user journey, customer ROI and event tracking from the front end of our website acquisition to purchase and then retention.

It is the best analytical tool to check user specific information. Google analytics give you a collection data for analysis but Kissmetrics gives what a user has done in detail.

It Is bit slow and takes time to generate the data.

We were recording user stages with product stages. Yes, it has helped us a lot. I highly recommend this product.

Power reports! Can slice and dice our data in endless ways.

Pricing is a tad-bit high and the UI could use some updating.
