What do you like best about Segment?

Possibility for all existing platforms. Cloud data collection. Customer segmentation. Explanations and step by step of how each task is carried out

What do you dislike about Segment?

You do not have the possibility to choose the language of the website. The limitation of having to choose an account type. Some destinations are incompatible with some sources.

It can be a bit difficult to understand how to get started if you're not a technical person.

It makes it incredibly easy to get all of your customer data in one place. Simple to configure and easy to debug.

A few of the pages are totally unreliable given the scale we're using the product at (such as the destination filters).

What do you like best about Segment?

The dashboard is very useful and you have a lot of features to analyze our data. In my case, I use to read the tracking plans to implement tracking on our application, and it's easy for me.

Sometimes I lost on the dashboard because it's difficult for me to find what I want.

What do you like best about Segment?

The segment is an excellent tool for giving shape to Raw data, collecting the and sending data from various resources. The best part about the segment is it allows you to re use the raw data.

What do you dislike about Segment?

Sometimes, it creates problems while resuing the Raw data but that also can be managed

We do not have to use multiple tools to share or send the data, it has everything that you need. Integration is also very easy

The Personas feature of Segment allows you to understand the whole customer journey on multiple devices a lot better.

What do you dislike about Segment?

Data connectors to external sources are quite unflexible and worse than competitors.

What problems is Segment solving and how is that benefiting you?

Without Segment, we wouldn't have been able to put together a reliable marketing attribution modeling given how many devices customers use nowadays and how long their buying periods are. Segment covers those gaps

What do you like best about Segment?

Being able to syndicate data to all your downstream tools is incredibly useful but what makes Segment work is their customer support team.

What do you dislike about Segment?

Unfortunately, Segment does not do session tracking which has meant that we have to use native functions from other tools that aren't transferrable across other tools.

Ease of integrating with existing toolsets we have or are using within the company. This enables anyone in the organisation to then use that data.

Slow response times when you are requiring any help. This can be a real problem when you are stuck.

The platform is very effective and practical and also has a great UI and I can find all required settings easily. Also setting up the frontend code is clear
