Faster recruiting Visibility I to recruiting productivity
It is so detailed in how it keeps track of information and notes. It's so easy to navigate and I especially loved how it kept track of everyone and everything I did in one place. It was a life saver.
I honestly can't think of anything I didn't like.
I was a staffing recruiter who managed multiple different clients and the applicants that applied for each of their positions. Bullhorn helped tremendously with keeping track of everything in such an organized way.
I've been using Bullhorn for over three years, and I like that they're always making changes to benefit its users. It's effortless to use and a great way to stay organized.
I'm not too fond of the bugs that this CRM has. I'll randomly have problems with this software. For example, freezing, logging me out, etc.
We've been able to use this database for mass emails and information to stay organized.
The side bar on Bullhorn is the best tool for notes! It also parses in resumes on most job sites!
I don't like that resumes can parse in and create multiple resumes for the same candidate
This makes it so easy to save resumes and make notes
It was very user friendly, had a ton of capabilities, easy to add candidates by parsing resumes, easy to track status of candidates.
We occasionally had an issue with Bullhorn going down, but it was always back up quickly.
I used it in Healthcare and Insurance recruiting, and it proved to really mold and fit whatever industry was using it.
The Application Tracking system is built superb and we can store Data and Track the Information
Every thing looks goob just the speed need to improve a bit while uploading and downloading resumes
its easy to handle and operate and best for an Business and operations for tracking
Bullhorn has capabilities to integrate with most 3rd party software and build in new tabs (i.e., LinkedIn Recruiter Pro). Also love that you can navigate the database from your cell phone browser and call/email/text directly from there. The marketplace partners make it so there are plenty of new options.
Can’t customize the main page, only start up screens or digging deep to access built in widgets. Updating the system based on client changes in requisitions can be redundant and there is not a perfect marketplace VMS integration tool that services all of our clients.
Mass emailing, building and managing client contact information and emails.
layout is very intuitive - easy navigation
wish you could tag jobs to prescreens - would allow for ease of organization at first look.
Complete organization and data integrity.
I love that it’s easy for everyone to use and to pick up on, even if they are new to the game
I don’t have anything I really dislike besides my admins have full control over something’s I could handle but that is at a company level not a BH issue
Tracking and data analytics and merging of information
I like that you can get to the right screen through a variety of methods.
The only thing I don't like about Bullhorn is the fact that a lot of the best reporting requires add-on software.
We're filling jobs for client companies, both contract and direct hire. The benefits are that we can easily track the candidates we spoke to, along with the clients we're working with.
Bullhorn is like a cellular phone - all in the palm of my hand - well both of my hands technically - click the mouse with my right hand and type with my left hand when need be. Bullhorn is easy to use, easy to read, it's organizational, it gives you the ability to edit and delete incorrect notations and through contact with Bullhorn's Support Services we've been able to have the software edited for an addition of information that has helped us understand our consumers better to meet their needs. What is most loved about Bullhorn on my end as a Front Desk Agent is having the ability to create and edit templates. I am on the phone from 8am - 5pm Monday through Friday speaking to candidates and clients. Through all this beautiful chaos I am also transferring our customers to our recruiters, payroll admins, and directors. With the opportunity to build and create templates, I have been able to color code, have the message set up, ready to go, and tag my coworkers for knowledge all within a matter of seconds whilst assisting someone else at the same time. There is not a perfect experience to dedicate knowledge here as I successfully complete this task every time. Could not ask for a better and resourceful system.
Every perfect piece of software comes with its defects. No person is perfect and nothing they create is perfect either. Bullhorn is stubborn in the category of taking extra steps. When I receive resumes via email, I can simply parse them in no strings attached. However, if I try to parse a resume that has been sent via fax, the option is not there. As a user, one must add the candidate, save the candidate and then go back and merge if the candidate is already on file. A lot of baby steps but doable when need to be done. When candidates apply through our website, Bullhorn is outstanding and automatically merges the file into our system. Sometimes if the candidate is already in our system, Bullhorn merges the two files together and sometimes the software does not which creates confusion for our notetaking and reach outs. Thankfully knowing this, I am always 100% on the lookout for those doppelganger files and ready to merge them to create less confusion for my coworkers and our clientele.
I have been using Bullhorn for almost a year now - our company has been with the software for at least 5 years and they are doing everything right. At the beginning of this year my organization decided to add Sense Messaging as another way of engaging with our clientele (best decision we've made). These two pieces of software are connected on my platform and have benefited PMC together and on their own too. When we text our clientele through Sense Messaging it automatically is in the database system allowing PMC to keep track of all of the important conversations with our candidates for reference. Bullhorn has allowed PMC to keep up to date with our clients’ needs in position and our candidates interests and success to meet their goals. Bullhorn is a computer software program progressing with the times of recruitment.
So far, my favorite part of BH is the user-freidnly nature of the product. It is easy to get started on a basic level and work your way up into more advanced things.
There was an update in the works a long time ago now and it never came to fruition, or maybe it did? I know I never saw anything about it after it was generated and then changed back.
I wish there was a better algorithm for matching candidates to jobs that are open in our system. I would also love love LOVE to see strong texting capabilities - more characters.
Easy to learn, colorful, user friendly. It is extremely easy to navigate
Should be able to add notes to a company
Keeping myself organized. I'm neve confused on who to contact to best utilize my time
A lot of options for filtering. You can save searches, really filter for a good search to find candidates. You can set reminders/tasks to follow up with potential clients or candidates
Don't really have any complaints. I felt like it was the best one I've used out of all the systems I've had a chance to work with. Everything can use an upgrade/update but I felt it was great for my needs.
Benefits - an organized process. It made the sales side and recruiting side easy - it really assists on both sides
We love how Bullhorn can integration all of systems into one
Our dislike is within our organization with the integration process. We have too many system
By having Bullhorn we have a better system to track our applicants and improving our staffing needs for our cleints
What I like most about the system is it's ease of use.
I do not currently have anything that I dislike about the system.
Organization of candidates and convenient user functionality
The ability to have meaningful reports on a candidate and client level. Salesforce, JobVite, etc. usually are more specialized on the candidate or client side. Bullhorn encompasses both nicely.
I wish you could export the data into excel and were able to manipulate it more for data visualization purposes. Also- I HATE the plug in Canvas.
We have been able to run analysis on best practices with job postings. For instance, best titles, time of day posted and etc.
Integration with vendor's vendor management systems and other applications like Text us, ease of use, easy to send candidates new opportunities, good UI/UX
There isn't much to dislike about Bullhorn, it is the Cadillac of ATS's. The only thing we struggle with is to use the functionality to it's fullest extent because there is so much to choose from.
Quicker candidate reach out, better documentation, good integration with other technology like LinkedIn, TextUs, etc. easy to reach out to candidates.
Bullhorn's ATS system really ties together all record types. From Candidate to Placements, Contacts to Jobs, and everything in-between.
Their support has seemed to slow down in response time, which is unfortunate.
Tracking all of our records and activities.
I use Bullhorn day to day at work. Not only is it easy to use but helps me stay organized.
I wish duplicate profiles automatically merged!
Bullhorn helps me keep track of my candidate pool. The benefits are that I can accurately keep track of candidates under each order.
