"Best addition to our Operations Management tech stack"
What do you like best about Glide?

The ease of use. I'm a Chief of Staff at Applify. I could automate our resource allocation and project tracking, which was earlier done using Google Sheets, from a manual process to an app-first smooth process. I did it myself without writing any code. Amazing tool!

What do you dislike about Glide?

This is a great product, I can't think of anything I dislike.

What problems is Glide solving and how is that benefiting you?

I work as a Chief of staff at Applify. We used Google Sheets to track resource allocation, cost, milestones, etc. My biggest problem was the inability to map data across different tools manually. Our Employee information was in a diff tool, project details in a PM tool, and we were trying to save allocation manually in Google Sheets. Updating Google Sheets manually was full of issues. With Glide, I could use Google Sheets as a database and create an app to automate the workflow of updating allocation. It led to a better solution for tracking my job's operational aspects.

"Look no further. This is the best no-code platform to date."
What do you like best about Glide?

Overall, Glide is; * Easy to learn Glide provides a user-friendly interface that makes it easy for beginners to understand and start building apps without prior coding experience. Its intuitive drag-and-drop functionality and visual design tools simplify the development process. * Has tons of features and integrations Glide offers a wide range of features and integrations, allowing users to incorporate various functionalities into their apps. These include interactive components, form submissions, user authentication, and more. The platform also supports integration with popular data sources like Google Sheets and Airtable databases, enabling seamless data management. * Active community This community provides valuable resources, tutorials, templates, and sample apps that can inspire and assist users in their app development journey. * Great support and personal approach to troubleshooting Glide is known for its excellent customer support. The team behind Glide offers responsive assistance and takes a personal approach to troubleshooting, ensuring that users receive the help they need. This level of support can be crucial, especially for beginners like me who encounter many challenges along the way. * Excellent UI/UX Designs Glide provides professionally designed UI/UX templates and themes that help create visually appealing and user-friendly apps. These templates save time and effort in designing the app interface, ensuring a polished and professional look for the final product.

What do you dislike about Glide?

Nothing much. But if I had to say something, I couldn't purchase a template from the Glide template store but it was quickly resolved by the Glide support team.

What problems is Glide solving and how is that benefiting you?

I am not a coder; never learned programming. I have always wanted to create a custom app to meet our needs. I have used various no-code development software, like Appsheet, Appify, Bubble.io, but failed in creating the ideal app for my organisation. So, I looked into CRM software, like Salesforce, which was too expensive. I ended up using Monday.com, Trello, and then Notion, but it still wasn't what I wanted... Then, I found Glide. Glide had an intuitive platform; the development process was easy to understand. I have used Glide to create the ideal CRM software that my company currently uses and it has solved so many problems. Our work is more streamlined; information is stored where we want them, enabling our team to work smarter and more efficiently. Go Glide ~!

"Fantastic and easy to use UX and UI."
What do you like best about Glide?

Its user-friendly design and the fact that it is so easy to start developing your app from a pre-existing template. Everything about the UI is intuitive and the learning curve is very accessible for users of most backgrounds. Additionally, its latest integrations have been a game changer, making Glide even more powerful than ever.

What do you dislike about Glide?

I love most of Glide's new integrations, which allow me to build robust and interconnected apps and solutions. However, I'd love to see more integrations in the future. It's not something I dislike; it's just one aspect where I expect it to improve.

What problems is Glide solving and how is that benefiting you?

Inventory and project management problems are the top issues it helps me solve. It's also allowed me to build robust scheduling and appointment booking solutions lately.

"Glide turned my spreadsheet board game into a playable project"
What do you like best about Glide?

Glide makes it super easy to build common things that you need in a mobile app straight from the spreadsheet. When I tried other no code web app tools, it seemed like a huge mountain to climb to get something workable; with Glide, I knew easily that it would work for what I needed

What do you dislike about Glide?

Understanding relations between sheets & how to send data between different sheets is tricky. Highly recommend understanding how user specific variables work before getting deep into the project.

What problems is Glide solving and how is that benefiting you?

I needed a simple way to create and deploy a web app - I don't have no code skills & didn't want to learn how to write native code! Glide made it really easy for me

"I used your technology to create a no-code app with Google Sheets integration. It is wonderful!"
What do you like best about Glide?

In order to attract clients and promote my work in automation and gate design, I turned my attention to your technology for creating a code-free application with Google Sheets integration. This is exactly what I was looking for! Flexibility in settings and efficiency of replacement, adding information to the application! Only Glide allows you to do this! Glad to join the team of users of your product :)

What do you dislike about Glide?

I would like more freedom in choosing fonts and preset templates. And also add the possibility of arbitrary positioning of buttons/text / pictures relative to the screen. Fix minor bugs when working with videos from YouTube.

What problems is Glide solving and how is that benefiting you?

I am a gate engineer. To work with customers, I need to show how I can help them implement their requests. The Glide app allows me to do this directly with a potential customer right on their phone! I showed the range of services I provide, a gallery of my customers' work, my YouTube channel, a price list, contact information, and other useful information. The ability to quickly replace and add information to the application is essential)

"Total game-changer for our charity 🔥"
What do you like best about Glide?

Don't be fooled by the it's clean and simple looking UI, Glide is extremely powerful and we have yet to come up with a feature we cannot build with it. Whatever you do, your app looks great. I love the eye for detail and the focus on functionality AND design. The latter often gets forgotten, resulting in unpleasant en user-unfriendly apps. The team pushes out feature after feature and everyone just works. Couldn't recommend more.

What do you dislike about Glide?

Yet to come up with something we dislike about Glide. There will also always be some volume limitations with no-code tools, but the team keeps expanding it platform to counter these.

What problems is Glide solving and how is that benefiting you?

Glide allows us to build an extremely powerful platform for thousands of users in a much more cost-effective way, that's still scalable, easy to build and deploy. It allows us to almost instantly respond to user needs, and test and launch new features within days instead of months.

"The power of no code, which is both time and cost efficient quickly helps to validate MVP idea."
What do you like best about Glide?

1. User-specific columns with Google Spreadsheet. 2. Renaming custom actions, and making it reusable. 3. Introducing new components on a frequent basis, and using custom CSS to alter the same.

What do you dislike about Glide?

1. The current sync issue is something I dislike. I understand that new features might take time, so I hope for the best. 2. The loading time increased on apps having more components; any solution or suggestion would be appreciated.

What problems is Glide solving and how is that benefiting you?

1. Helps validate your idea and the possibility of generating revenue through a presentable MVP. 2. With apps being the go-to for any business, glide helps with quicker delivery and is cost and time effective. 3. It has helped people save their hours by automating and delivering solutions in the form of an app by connecting with Google Sheets, or using API's to access their Glide Tables

"My experience after 3 years experience and 50+ apps built with Glide"
What do you like best about Glide?

I do love Glide a lot! In my view, that's awesome for it's balance of simplicity/power. You can build almost anything on Glide in very short time and with a great pleasure!

What do you dislike about Glide?

I personally want to have more powerful data editor. Now it's ok just to build interface on that (which glide was actually made for) but there are no very basic features inside of the editor itself and that's difficult to work with because of that. But I am pretty sure that Glide's powerful team will change that very soon!

What problems is Glide solving and how is that benefiting you?

I have a lot to say because I am freelancer working on some enterprises and smaller businesses helping them with Glide Glide is amazing for: 1. Building custom solutions for business when there is no existing solution on the market. For example, CRMs, inventory management, education management and all the other possible flows where custom process is necessary. If you are was not able to find an existing solution for your business problem and feel that your solution creates a lot of boundaries for you, you should definitely try Glide. 2. Can be also helpful for small businesses and startups to test new ideas. 3. Optimizing paperwork

What do you like best about Glide?

Ease of use, quick prototyping, innovative and supportive staff.

What do you dislike about Glide?

No in-app subscription support, no way to edit/delete multiple records at once from the front end of the app (set column > multiple relation)

What problems is Glide solving and how is that benefiting you?

"This is the best No Code tool to develop an app"
What do you like best about Glide?

As an avid developer and entrepreneur, I am always on the lookout for tools that can streamline the app development process. Recently, I had the opportunity to explore a revolutionary no-code app development tool called Glide, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations in every aspect. This tool has truly transformed the way I approach app development, and I am excited to share my experience. First and foremost, Glide embraces the concept of empowering creativity. It offers a user-friendly interface with an intuitive drag-and-drop functionality, allowing even those with minimal technical knowledge to create robust and visually stunning applications. The tool eliminates the need for writing complex lines of code, enabling users to focus on their ideas rather than getting caught up in programming intricacies. One of the standout features of this tool is its extensive library of pre-built components and templates. Whether you're developing a mobile app, a web application, or even a complex enterprise solution, this tool offers a vast collection of customizable elements that cater to various industries and functionalities. From login forms and database integrations to advanced UI components and data visualization tools, the possibilities are endless. The ability to rapidly prototype and iterate upon ideas significantly accelerates the app development process. Furthermore, the tool provides seamless integration with popular third-party services and APIs, ensuring that your application can leverage the functionalities of existing systems effortlessly. Whether you need to incorporate payment gateways, social media sharing, or cloud storage solutions, the tool offers a range of integrations that enable you to build feature-rich apps without writing a single line of code. I was particularly impressed by the tool's scalability and performance. It generates clean and optimized code behind the scenes, resulting in apps that are not only visually appealing but also efficient and responsive. The generated code is lightweight, ensuring faster load times and a seamless user experience across different devices and platforms. Moreover, the tool offers excellent collaboration capabilities, allowing multiple team members to work on a project simultaneously. The ability to invite colleagues, share feedback, and track progress in real-time fosters a collaborative environment, making it ideal for both small teams and large enterprises. Customer support is also a crucial aspect to consider, and this tool delivers in that area as well. The dedicated support team is responsive, knowledgeable, and always ready to assist with any queries or issues that may arise during the development process. They also provide extensive documentation and tutorials, enabling users to quickly familiarize themselves with the tool's features and make the most out of their app-building journey. In conclusion, the no-code app development tool I had the pleasure of using has transformed the way I approach app development. Its user-friendly interface, extensive component library, seamless integrations, scalability, and excellent customer support make it a top choice for developers, entrepreneurs, and businesses alike. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced developer, this tool empowers you to bring your ideas to life efficiently and without the need for extensive coding knowledge. I highly recommend giving it a try and experiencing the freedom and creativity it offers firsthand.

What do you dislike about Glide?

While the tool claimed to offer seamless integrations with third-party services, I missed the integration with Microsoft tools, like Excel. The integration process was cumbersome and required unnecessary workarounds and manual configurations. This not only hindered the functionality of the apps but also made the development process needlessly complex.

What problems is Glide solving and how is that benefiting you?

Glide helps solve several business problems. Here are some key business challenges that a no-code tool addresses: - Speeding up App Development - Reducing Development Costs - Bridging the Skills Gap - Enhancing Agility and Iterative Development - Promoting Collaboration and Communication - Empowering Business Users - Scaling and Customization In summary, Glide helps businesses overcome challenges related to development speed, costs, skills gaps, agility, collaboration, empowerment of business users, and scalability. By leveraging these tools, businesses can streamline app development, reduce expenses, foster innovation, and create customized solutions that align with their specific needs and goals.
