As we have worked with other EOR partners, I can say that Oyster is providing the best quality services and taking care of its customers. I really appreciate the dedicated representatives at Oyster who are always there to support and solve all kinds of topics regarding our foreign employees. Another great thing in cooperation is that there is a constant development of the platform and available information.
Overall I'm very happy with the cooperation, just sometimes it's more difficult to work with entities, where Oyster has local partners and not their own legal entity.
As the local market is very small, we have a chance to hire anywhere in the world and get the best talent joining our company via Oyster, and that boosts the company's development, as we have access to a wide pool of specialists.
It is user-friendly because it is easier to navigate and simplifies Global Hiring. Companies can find and employ talented individuals from around the world without having to navigate the intricacies of international employment laws and regulations themselves.
sometimes payments are taking long to reach our bank accounts. These issues may disrupt workflows, cause delays, or temporarily impact the user experience. We would like payments to be quick as possible.

It is easy to create my invoices and whenever I have an issue with them it is simple to get it resolved.

Navigating Oyster as an admin takes some getting used to.
From our second hire we were a globally distributed team. Oyster allows us to manage employees and contractors anywhere without stress. This means we can hire where the talent is instead of where our HR/employment knowledge is.

Oyster is a fantastic platform for companies looking to employ talent in countries where they do not have a legal entity. The platform is straightforward to use and navigate, making it an excellent option for those unfamiliar with foreign employment laws and regulations. Additionally, Oyster's client support team is incredibly responsive and supportive, providing users with reassurance and confidence throughout employment.
While Oyster's ticketing system works well for communication with the support team, the lack of phone support can be a drawback for some users. The back and forth via the ticketing system can become lengthy when attempting to clarify information or resolve issues. A more direct and immediate mode of communication would be preferable in certain situations.

The service at Oyster is top notch. I have monthly check in meetings with my account managers (I could have them more or less frequently if I would like), where we discuss any open issues or questions I have and any new developments with Oyster. Each time I have had to reach out to support, I have had a good experience with quick replies and thorough responses that I can trust. I have used another EOR service in the past and I can say Oyster's service is 100x better and more reliable. Additionally, the platform itself is really easy to use with intuitive features.
Oyster is still rolling out some key features to make things more automated and easier to use, but in the few months that I have been with Oyster, many of the things I have wanted have either been rolled out or added to the roadmap. The platform is still very user friendly and I think it will just continue to get better as they make enhancements.
We used a different EOR service in the past and were very frustrated with the service we were getting. Oyster provides us with the information that we need to properly manage and pay our team members in countries we don't have entities in.

Oyster makes it incredibly easy to quickly hire remote talent for your team. The onboarding process is straight forward and fast, with a Oyster support member always there to assist.
What could be improved is for Oyster to provide us as an employer with a bit more information on the actual salary details of our team members. We would like to have a better insight in the social security contributions as well as taxes that our team members pay, as this helps to understand their actual net income and thus be in a better position to relate to them when negotiating salaries.
We are looking to extend our team with the best talent, regardless of their location. Thus, we need a way to be able to safely hire talent from other countries, which Oyster enables us to do.
I only use contractors and Oyster provides an easy way for me to pay contractors both in country and around the world. I've used contractors from the USA, Canada, and Columbia, and it works for everyone. They manage the payments and create the tax forms necessary for year-end. The price for contractors is reasonable. Oyster is a good choice for a small business leveraging contractors.
It's a bit difficult to reach someone for support by phone, and my contractors would prefer to receive pay quicker (takes about two weeks from invoice approval to their receipt of payment.
Oyster takes care of payments and contractor setup (in and out of country) so I don't have to worry about any related regulations, and minimizes my responsibilities for tax and other compliance issues. My business benefits by being able to obtain the best help possible at competitive rates, reduces my risk, and allows me to focus on my business more.
Customer Service responds quickly and with helpful information.
I would appreciate a guide to come back to when having questions and/or to communicate in the local language, as legal or labor language in the local language is more precise, so I don't have to translate it.
It solves the scenario of working remotely for a company based in another country.
I like the graphics and the way its arranged,my first time usung it, i felt a real office,i can be able to acces my contract,see past payments and so on,i can see my day offs and leaves, this a nice remote office.
I dislike nothing, because i see nothing to dislike on Oyster. To be sincere to me this site is organised very well as a proffesional site for us workers. so am just good.
Makes payment easy and it can be tracted by what status, so it makes someone plan accordingly, Solves the problem of having paper contracts, here everything is found in one place. there alot more others that i cant write.
I have have recenly discovered the Global Employment Pass by Oyster and really love what they offer. It is an awesome resource - the "Oyster Academy" courses focus on remote fundamentals, how to organise your time and stay productive and creating effective distributed teams. Courses are clear, engaging, user-friendly and really informative. Brilliant idea to offer a certification upon completion of the course too. OysterHR website features also blog articles, interview skills tips and podcasts - terrific selection of topics. Can't recommend it enough for everyone looking to start their remote journey or working in a company that is planning to explore more flexibility in their way of working.
I find the resources offered really helpful and looking forward to exploring how they will develop them!
