The interface is easy to use and very intuitive for all the users we have, it allows us to schedule out the timelines for the longer projects with ease and manage resources easily.
I wish it had more integrations, namely freshservice. the trello integration needs some help to be really useful.
scheduling projects and balancing resource workloads.
The resources management is very helpfull.
In some cases is difficult to create sub-tasks.
We have used teamgantt to manage one big project in one of our customers. We have used the baseline to see the deviation from the original plant and to plan actions.
Ability to receive a daily update as well as a reminder when tasks are due
Organization doesn't want to invest in the subscription
Allows one to know how much time is left for a project
Nice graphic interface, easy and intuitive to use even for novice users. Logical process for creating a timing plan that is responsive and deals with dependancies elegantly.
The undo feature is very useful, but hard to keep track of as it breaks down each action into too many steps e.g. if I delete 5 days of activity in a block, rather than that just being one action to undo, it becomes 5. So if you make large changes to the overall plan it quickly becomes very complicated to track.
Quickly create timing plans that can be shared and worked on collaboratively across multiple offices and countries. So much quicker than Excel!
Big improvement over project bc it's so easy to use and manage projects. Just needs improvements in integrating with other services.
Not enough integrations. A little pricey.
Tracking business and software projects and deliverables.
I was looking for a complete and easy to use tool to manage time sheets and planification for my team. I've tested TONS of tools and found TeamGant very powerful. Even if some feature can still be improved (in particular the reports) the UI is quite clear and simple and the GANTT view is really useful. TeamGantt allows a better global view, better collaboration and great Team Availability vision.
Reports are very basics. I'd like to add comments to each time entry (day by day) and by now it is not possible. A better integration of leaves (sick leave and vacations) would be really appreciable.
My main concern is to have a good vision of the workload: which team member is overloaded, which one is not, when I'll have free ressources to plan a new project... Several tools on the Project Management market don't provide good solutions/visualizations for that. Of course we need time sheets and reports but the Team Availability for future projects is as important as Time spent on current projects!
Easy to use, doesn't get as cluttered as MS Project, easy colab.
Web-based, non-intuitive menu and print setup.
Project management needed a Gantt chart software without paying the large fee for MS Project.
I do like that you can customize team gantt to work for you and your team. The ability to create new tasks lists and then duplicate them is very easy.
I don't like that if i create a project for say the content team, it will never show as completed because I keep adding tasks to it. I would need to create an individual project file for each task.
This helps with making sure all teams are on track. If we don't have the ability to meet every day or week we can go to team gantt to see where people stand on projects. It also helped take a lot out of email. It almost acts like a conversation tool for projects as well.
We love the very dynamic interface (Drag&Drop , extend, drawing interdependencies ....), and also the sharing and commonuicating tools.
we'd like to have it integrated with redmine. or at lease we'd like to put a link in the task description
TG solved our need for managing our resources' capacities, feature development scheduling, sharing projects scheduling with external observers.
I like that I can easily and quickly create projects, assign people to roles, and keep them and my self abreast of progress. Many of my projects are very similar, so the ability to turn a project into a template is very helpful. I love that I can link documents to tasks and that I and others can add notes to tasks and even email those notes to selected individuals. I like that it resembles the familiar structure of MS Project, but does not torment me with a ribbon at the top. I love that it is constantly improving, and yet those improvements are always so intuitive that I begin using them without realizing they are new. I like that the system is so easy that I use few of the plentiful user guides and the need for technical support is so low that I can't remember the last time we needed help.
It doesn't actually do my job for me, I hate that :>). If I were to suggest improvements, it would relate to how multiple people track time on one task. I'm not sure how they could make that work better. Our last tool did not allow two people on one task, requiring us to create the task separately for each member. That was worse.
This tool addresses all my project requirements. It allows me to assign tasks and receive reports from project participants. I couldn't ask for more.
Ease of use. Intuitive. Easy to share with clients.
No tablet / phone based interface. This is a HUGE drawback. Also - if I could zoom in to the specific hour in terms of scheduling, this is the only thing I'd use
Multi task / multi department / international workflows in creative media production
I come form P3 and Microsoft Project and though TeamGantt doesn't do what those will do TeamGantt in many ways will do more. Here is the problem with other software, its to big too expensive and to confusing for the novice to use. All we want from TeamGantt is to get our 105 employees all working together on one schedule and so far after 10 months of use TeamGantt continues to bring more people together and its keeping more conversations focus on the build task not just the overall job. Problem areas are more easily identified and issues are worked through quicker because the novice schedule users, like our account specialist, managers, builders, and purchasing, can now communicate within each project and each tasks assignment. Sort comings: If you need a heavy cost analyst tool TeamGantt isn't for you. If you want your whole team talking with each other through a documented process then TeamGantt does very well. We currently are running about 20 plus project on any given day ranging from small single line projects to 120 line project. We have Venders / Contractors / Owners and Architects all using the software.
I'd like to be able to have conversations flagged or marked in a way that would leave them open until I decide to close them. Would Like a project Merge though Teamgantt has its own way of doing this I like having a lot of subprojects all connected to one main project but keeping the individual teams intact. This is not a deal breaker in any way.
Getting novice users using. That is working great.
The project owner can create Gantt charts in one click for the entire project and can have a control on the critical path to ensure projects are done within the timeline.
Tasks can be assigned to the responsible owners but the dashboards some times does not refresh to the names assigned. Tracking multiple projects comes with few limitations.
Creating and monitoring the critical path of the project to ensure proper timeline completion. Ability to book hours and track them individually to the resource level.
I think the ease of use and also I was able to drag and drop which makes everything so easy.
Print/ Export to PDF did not allow for enough modifications/customization.
Project planning so far. I could perhaps use it for project implementation at a later date.
TeamGantt is a great option for smal teams that want basic project management options without going to deep into assignments, template, or data
It is a bit basic of a system with limitations on things like tram usage styles, project view options, templates, and the kind of data you can pull
Helps the team communicate in one place
